Let jackasses be jackasses?

Eh...I like Sherman. I like that he continues to put hurdles in front of himself to overcome. It is easy to get to the top of the mountain and rest on your laurels because no one is dogging these top athletes. He has Positive Pete for a coach, a legion of die hard fans, and an agent who is a "yes" man for him. I don't have a problem with Sherman going out and looking for things to take personally so he can stay driven to improve even more. Sherman has taken an interesting road to get to where he is, and it hasn't been an easy one.

He was recruited as a WR and then told he wasn't good enough and needed to switch to CB.

He played two years of CB pretty well and was then (as he says) bad mouthed by his college coach to pro teams which caused him to drop.

Now he is in a passing league with the rules skewed to favor the offense when the WRs are already bigger and faster than he is.

I'm sure the attention is an added bonus, but in the end, Sherman is a pretty good guy. He has been great in the Seattle community and gives back to the city of Los Angeles where he grew up. He isn't out breaking the law and other than talking trash, keeps his nose pretty clean. Some people talk trash, some people don't. I did when I played and maybe that is why I am more tolerant of Sherman than others are.

Man we expect a lot from our professional athletes. We want them to be freakishly talented, we want them to play through pain and injuries, we want them to be loyal to the point of turning down millions more to stay on our favorite teams, and we want them to do it all while keeping their mouths shut and being polite little mouthpieces for the team.

Who cares? I think it's funny they are going back and forth. It's a division rival, they are supposed to hate eachother! I hope PP7 gets more than Sherman just so we can see that meltdown! Here hold my beer I'm goin on a twitter rant!

Sherman's also a hypocrite.

Against a racist...cool, that's fine.
For a war criminal...sorry Shermy, you lost me there.

If you're fine with death, cronyism, lies, and a million other things...it does seem a bit hypocritical to be against an old racist owner voicing racial slurs. Because as bad as racism is; murder, and many other crimes, are far, far, far, far worse.

Missiles and drones can break my bones, but to Sherman words are far worse.

But that's all I'm going to say about it.

Except he's not doing that, not striving to give himself more challenges to overcome. He's just a loud-mouthed braggart. Okay, so he's really good, cool. Show some class about it and don't be such a blowhard eedjit. Yes, he's awesome for the Seattle community, no denying that. He's just a really annoying personality, and he shoves it in everyone's faces.

Twitter has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. Still don't understand the popularity of it.
