Also Donnie Wahlberg, John Leguizamo and 50 Cent.

With a name like righteous kill, I will probably be interested.

It's hard to believe they've only been in two movies together, and they didn't even share screen time in Godfather II.

And something like 8 minutes in Heat.

Righteous Kill

Release Date: September 12, 2008
Studio: Overture Films
Director: Jon Avnet
Screenwriter: Russell Gerwitz
Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Thriller
MPAA Rating: R (for violence, pervasive language, some sexuality and brief drug use)
Website: RighteousKill-themovie.com

Starring: Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, 50 Cent, Donnie Wahlberg, Carla Gugino

Plot Summary: A pair of veteran New York City police detectives are on the trail of a vigilante serial killer. After 30 years as partners in the pressure cooker environment of the NYPD, highly decorated Detectives David Fisk and Thomas Cowan should be ready for retirement, but aren't. Before they can hang up their badges, they are called in to investigate the murder of a notorious pimp, which appears to have ties to a case they solved years before. Like the original murder, the victim is a suspected criminal whose body is found accompanied by a four line poem justifying the killing. When additional crimes take place, it becomes clear the detectives are looking for a serial killer, one who targets criminals that have fallen through the cracks of the judicial system. His mission is to do what the cops can't do on their own--take the culprits off the streets for good. The similarities between the recent killings and their earlier case raise a nagging question: Did they put the wrong man behind bars?

I like De Niro and Pacino far too much to ever watch this movie.

No thread for this one? Watched this one last night was pretty good, however I am a bit biased as I love Pacino and Deniro. I especially like when these guys work onscreen together just a couple of pro's! Pretty good and a bit of surprising ending.

Give me the entire collection of Eastwood films (many of which I own) any day over the entire collections of DeNiro and/or Pacino. Not even close, IMHO.
