Long time sportscaster Greg Gumbel passed away today at 78. I remember watching him a lot back in the day on CBS and NBC for the NFL and other sports. RIP

The news that Greg Gumbel has passed is just heartbreaking. Was an honor to share the March Madness desk with him. A pro’s pro and a gentleman of the highest order.

I remember the first time I saw him on tv...I was looking the other way when they named the announcers and I was like, "Greg? Wudafuq is Greg? I thought dudes name is Bryant?"
Turns out, it wasn't the same dude....
