Don't forget to add Mel Brooks and Woody Allen to that cast. Actually thinking about it, an Expendables style movie with comedy greats would probably be the most awful piece of crap ever put on screen.

Unless you had Buck Henry to pull it all together.

After being retired for sixth months I was finally back into action. Faster than you can say spread 'em - I was inside the cold grey walls of Statesville Prison. I was surrounded by pimps, racists and murderers. It was like being in the stands at a Raiders game.

LMAO! I loved Police Squad. I never understood why more people didn't watch it.

RIP, Leslie.

As Chap said - he's most known for his comedy, but back in the day he was a serious, dramatic actor. Guest starred on Streets of San Francisco, Wagon Train, Hawaii Five-O, etc.

Yeah, it was great. I liked the movies but I thought the short-lived TV show was quite a bit better. I never understood it's early demise either.

agreed.

"And Rex Kramer as Abraham Lincoln!"

almost as good of a line as "And the capital of Nebraska is Lincoln!"

watching Airplane! right now. Good god that movie is note perfect.

RIP Leslie. RIP.
