I guess. I'm not sure. It certainly isn't easy being embarrassed in the stands and on the field.
That is a really terrible feeling walking out of the stadium with those visiting fans whooping it up. Blech!

To make matters worse, I don't drink anymore. I can't even throw back a beer to help drown my sorrows.

that just makes you angrier about it anyway

That was the worst part as a season tix holder is spending your entire day there. getting hyped and hyped and hyped. Getting in and seeing so many opposing fans and then when we self detonate and get run over, dealing with the taunting on the way out of the stadium.

The wins were amazing days, the losses were hard to deal with.

I think a big part of being able to back off and simply enjoy cardinal football without it affecting my mentality was dropping from being a season ticket holder. I used to take it Very seriously. Be affected very much the next day and etc.

Nowadays its pure entertainment and has little to no affect on me. I like it this way. On top of it, the good stuff is still a high that I love but the bad stuff is so much less of a low.

Someone mentioned on the other forum that there is a University of Washington / ASU game on too. Maybe a bunch of fans took vacation to watch both games.

Forgot about that, that explains how loud and rowdy they were still sucks

That post game on NFL was a joke a ****ing joke
For what it's worth - the Cardinal OT post-game show on FSN-AZ (with all the usual local on-air talent) was informative and objective.

They don't black it out on DirecTV out of market. (and I'm pretty sure they included game-footage (maybe because they have a different arrangement with NFLN).

I wouldn't get my cojones in an uproar over coverage, though, until we win.

I have never understood people that won't support a team unless they are winning. Being a fan means in good times and in bad, not jumping on and off the bandwagon. Victories mean more when you've endured the losses right there with the team. Going to the Super Bowl in Tampa meant a lot more having been through a lot of lean years at SDS, etc. You only get out what you put into it so it is up to you on how you support the team. I just choose to support them all the time, especially with my time, money, and energy on game days. It just rubs some of us diehards the wrong way when others aren't as dedicated and sell their seats to "the enemy."

It rubs me the wrong way that some people feel the need to call people out and tell them how bad of fans they are. People seem to forget that the nfl is a business and the Cardinals are making money, they are not out there as a charity playing for your entertainment. Its like buying an Apple laptop with a screen broken, I'm not not going to take it back and demand better because I'm a fan of Apple. I think its completely understandable and justifiable fans don't show up to games, watch the games, buy merchandise, when the team just isn't very good and hasn't been good except for 2 years.

Yeah, pretty sad. I don't understand buying season tickets and then selling them to fans of other teams.

As far as Mulli goes, I get it and I think it is understandable. No judgement here.

My biggest frustration is that I am a big fan of good football and I miss it because I watch the Cardinals.

Whatever. Three or four years ago, there were barely any Seahawks fans there. They are worse bandwagoners than the fricking Rams or Niners fans. Hell, even when we had our good years in 08 and 09, all of the sudden you could notice more Cards jerseys in the stands on road games.

That's how it is with every team.

I could not go to the Thursday game as we were on vacation, and I sell my tickets through the team site (ticketmaster). It's convienent for me, the money goes directly into my STA and I don't have to do anything.

There is plenty of opportunity for Cardinals fans to buy my tickets via the team site, and I hope some did. It isn't my fault that the Cardinals haven't built up enough of a local fanbase to have Cardinals fans snapping up available tickets on the market. I don't find that my fault, at all. Especially when I make every game I can, even when I know we are going to get destroyed.

It sucks, but the fact that there are too many opposing team fans in the stands isn't the fault of the people selling their tickets - they will sell them to people that pay money. The problem is there isn't a lot of demand among Cards fans.

There is when it looks like we are a playoff team. When we are how we usually are, borderline mediocre to flat out suck, not many will start to fork over $100 to go to a game that they can see on TV.

Every person is different. I personally like watching the game on tv. High definition and more information. Most importantly you can enjoy it in your home rather than surrounded by obnoxious fans. It's also nice to use your own bathroom rather than tip-toeing your way through filthy facilities.

I'd rather be there. Hated giving up my season tix when I moved away. Miss tailgating. Miss celebrating (mourning) with other fans.

Tailgating is another one. People getting hammered at 10am. SMH type behavior.

Not everyone, but a lot of them...

Where is safe when you need them. Any opposing fan who is up cheering while we are on offense should be told to sit down or get punched in the face.

Did you not look at the schedule before planning your vacation? :D

Games have changed our traveling plans before and likely will again in the future.

Usually we plan around them, but the school puts fall break when it puts it. Most of the time, we come back in time for the game from vacations, but the Thursday night screwed that up.

It was bad tonight. I cannot believe how many "fans" sold out. It is disgusting.

Meh.

Good for them. Hope they made some money.

The product is bad thus business is bad at the stadium.

Thursday night? A game that the Cardinals were probably going to lose?

What were the expectations?

I would have been there just like I will be at the Philly game this year but peop,e can do what they want with thier tickets IMO.

And blame should go to the Cardinals organization, this is there usual steaming pile so I can see why people decide to make some money.

As I mentioned, people selling the tickets isn't the problem. Cardinals fans not buying the available tickets is.

Do you think you would see half the stands full of seahawk fans at Lambeau? No effing way. When tickets are for sale for the Pack, Packer fans are more than willing to snap them up. There will always be other teams fans in the stadium, but there should be a stable of Cardinals fans who couldn't get season tickets that would snap up seats when they hit the market. We have a piss-poor fanbase. That's the difference in a long tradition of winning and a long tradition of sucking.
