I think the "Sea" in "Red Sea" stands for "Seattle." Because 40% of U of P tonight was Seahawk fans.
Embarrassing.

Someone mentioned on the other forum that there is a University of Washington / ASU game on too. Maybe a bunch of fans took vacation to watch both games.

Yep. The Cardinals will have to do A LOT more to earn consistent fan support.I never understand why people get mad at other fans for not showing up to games because they don't want to pay hundreds of dollars and drive an hour with traffic to watch a losing team.

Being in Pa I don't get to home games however it really bugged the crap out of me last night hearing it get loud when Seattle scored. It sounded like an away game on the TV. Everytime they panned the crowd it appeared there were as many Seahag fans as Cardinal fans. It appeared that it was about 50/50.
I have never understood people that won't support a team unless they are winning. Being a fan means in good times and in bad, not jumping on and off the bandwagon. Victories mean more when you've endured the losses right there with the team. Going to the Super Bowl in Tampa meant a lot more having been through a lot of lean years at SDS, etc. You only get out what you put into it so it is up to you on how you support the team. I just choose to support them all the time, especially with my time, money, and energy on game days. It just rubs some of us diehards the wrong way when others aren't as dedicated and sell their seats to "the enemy."

I used to feel the same way. At some point, the Cardinals' failures ground me down to where I can't stop following them, but I get little enjoyment from it. Do you not see a point where you won't be able to take them anymore? Where supporting them in spite of the losses, in spite of the lack of talent, just isn't worth the trouble anymore?
When a franchise is as abysmal as this one has been, bandwagon takes on a new meaning. Not really. Don't get me wrong, I'm really unhappy right now. I would also understand someone like you (this is not meant to be insulting) not following the team anymore because you don't live here. If I moved and planned on staying moved I might start following the local team. Understandable...but what is the definition of bandwagon? Especially for people that live here.
I guess. I'm not sure. It certainly isn't easy being embarrassed in the stands and on the field. When a franchise is as abysmal as this one has been, bandwagon takes on a new meaning.
