Well looks like the media is batting .000 like usual...about everything.

Another day, another false hiring report from the media. Are these computer generated when the HFT computers aren't busy?

Notre Dame wins the National Championship according to one BCS computer. :)

Dallas fan here. (Yeah, I know.)

Was excited about Ryan initially. But don't get too worried about him in St. Louis. Totally overrated and gets by on his name IMO. That's not to say he's a terrible DC. He did OK with the ridiculous amount of injuries Dallas had on D this year.

But if St. Louis expects him to bring an aggressive, turnover generating defense, they'll be disappointed. He is incredibly conservative and will drive them nuts with his 3-man fronts and dropping everyone into coverage 99% of the time. Hardly any pressure on the QB.

His defense is definition of "bend but don't break." Which leads to the opposing teams being able to sustain long drives that eat up the clock.

Check Pro Football Reference and look up how many Rob Ryan Defenses have finished in the top half of the league.

Rob is on his third job in four seasons. The Raiders, Browns, and now Cowboys have blown him out of the building.

Saw that in the paper today. Hilarious. Why anyone thinks a made up arbitrary model (any of them) can mean anything other than nothing is hilarious. Just think how many people (or parents) paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in college so their children become stupider learning that crap.

Human eyes and brains should take into account what actually happened that season, not some checklist (that is 1/100000000000000th of what goes on during a football season) that determines who is champion.

Someone should write a book entitled, 'how morons control us'.

That would be refreshing. Cardinal defenses are usually break but don't bend.

Well until recently when they've become the bend but force the other team to a missed FG defense.

It's not refreshing when he sends 3 rushers on third and long, only to see the opponent convert on a regular basis. Absolutely zero pressure to the QB. I've even seen him rush 2 a few times!
