I checked the Rams site, they play the Cowboys in Dallas next season. That should be a very interesting game for Ryan.

In Dallas he had the best rush LB of modern times, a damn good top 5 MLB (Sean Lee), Jay Ratliff, and 2 stud CBs and his D still got torched.

Cardinals dealt with tons of injuries on D this year and didnt faulter, but Horton doesnt get the accolades that Rob Ryan does.

That's kind of nuts - Horton gets interviews to be a HC, Ryan gets fired - pretty certain Ray gets good accolades based on that.

Agreed. I have seen more Cowboys games than I care to admit (due to my sister's misplaced fandom). Dude yells and flails his arms more than anything. Yes, the Cowboys have had injuries on defense. I don't think this hiring will make a difference regardless.

The Friday night report that the Rams hired Rob Ryan to be their next defensive coordinator has been denied by Ryan.

“I’m on a beach and have talked to nobody and have no comment,” Ryan said when reached by Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com.

Interesting history here as Jeff Fisher was a disciple of the Buddy Ryan 46---and yet, Rob and his brother Rex have morphed into 34 coaches.

The Rams currently run the 43---which philosophically has elements of the Buddy Ryan 46.

Would this mean Rob Ryan reverts back to his father's old system?

I do not think Jeff Fisher is going to want to convert to the 34.
