Yet another utter and complete Keim 1st round special...his trend does not bode well for Mr. Murray.

kyler was kingsbury and micheal bidwill pick, bidwill after last season fiasco was eager to find the solution to fill farm state stadium seats

1) How much influence did Arians have in the picks, and for the most part they were winning

2) Temptation of being cavalier because you have been winning and seeing going off measurables as a luxury in the early rounds

3) For the most part he has been good outside of the draft

4) He gets along with the owner
Well, Arians wasn't here when Keim traded 3 draft picks to move up in the first round last year only to trade that draft pick for a low 2nd rounder this year. I swear that if Rosen wins 1 more game than Murray Keim will have to be shot into the sun.

He’ll have more time to play heavy metal music, get weird piercings and do donuts in the parking lot

He had a good off season, said to be doing what it takes to become a good player. He's been dinged the last few weeks. I'm not writing him off yet. I'd like to see him healthy and get into a regular routine before I judge him. Of course, that may never happen.
He's so inconsistent though, plays hard & makes some plays, now you start thinking he's turned it up a notch? Next game it's back to the same lazy ass play from him. I hope he finally starts playing hard also but i really don't expect it will ever happen. Not gonna hold me breath on that lol.

He wasn't a boom either. He was adequate at best.

Kinda wonder if he had played his position of safety how he would have been IMHO that was also a problem playing players in different positions than they had before or drafted as

Keim’s legacy of first rounders is taking tweeners, players with questionable work ethic, and project “value” players.

Why would you even try & resign a guy who’s done jack squat for 6 years now?. And yes he was overhyped & an under performing player in college as well.

Pass! Move along...next.

Only because of what I hope for. I have seen him being an absolute monster, and with a new coordinator, a new style of defense and him being in a contract year. Not to mention not overwhelming alternatives. I would give him another shot, and it’s not like I am talking key player or anything.

Another failed 1st round pick by Keim. I know no one is ever 100% on picks but Keim has been 100% wrong in the first round. That's hard to do.

As you can see in this analysis, that’s not even close to being true.

Wow, Nkimbusty was only going to be a 2.7mil against the cap with the 5th year option......that is pretty damning of what the Cardinals think of him.

the fifth year option would have been quite a bit higher

as an example --

DJ Humphries rookie contract averaged $2.6mm

his fifth year option (this year) that the team picked up is $9mm for 1 year

so i would guess that picking up Nkemdiche's fifth year option for next season (2020) would have been in the $9.5mm range. Kind of a no-brainer to decline

The closest so far has been Bucannon who was forced to play out of position. He was adaqate at best but he's gone now too. Funny how there are still more Rod Graves 1st round picks making a positive impact on this team than Keim 1st round picks.

Oh really. Name me a Keim 1st round pick that has made any sort of an impact. I'll wait. And I don't give a flip what "analysis" you dredge up. Anyone with 2 eyes know that Keim is HORRIBLE at drafting.
