Starting to think they won't be able to beat the good teams.

starting? they can't beat golden state for god's sake. we are in serious need of some kind of jump start. it might be bringing in a new player, it might just be a tough talking to by the coaches, or just a really good game to get us back in rhythm. whatever it is, we need help.

who really knows. It's early, but I've seen very little to really get me excited about winning a title this year and yes, that is the only thing I care about. If that makes me "sad" or a "bad fan" or whatever you want to call it - okay. That's just the way it is with me.

I'm not mad or anything about this loss or any other. I've got zero expectations for this team. I just don't really care all that much right now.

In a van...down by the river.
IMO we'll be fine. We'll put it together, win 55 games, slip by a bad team in the first round, & get sent home soon after with more excuses for why we can't get over the hump.

Suns are worse in 3 pointers, missing another threath

slightly slower..

Its one game, as most will say.

But I can see a problem already, you can claim its only a start, but it applies to other teams also, they can only round to form.

I'm still worried about the following teams ranked in order from worst to.. err... bad.

1. Spurs
2. Jazz
3. Warriors
4. Mavs
5. Rockets

Those 5 teams I see the Suns struggling against... matchup mainly, the Suns are smaller, but are a step slower... so, it kind of negates the purpose of "small ball".

Why would a fan be "bad" if he/she would want a title? The expectations from this team for the last 3 years is to win a title. I don't care how entertaining this team is in the regular season. I have had enough of entertainment for last 20 years or so. I want title now. And this team is not going to get it. They will be crushed by better teams like San Antonio.

Not a big deal.

SA lost to the Kings on Monday and was pathetic.

Mavs are struggling and should 2-3 more losses than the four that they already have.

Suns and Spurs will meet for a re-match WCF--these games early in the season will be long forgotten.

If the Suns were pummeling all these teams people would say "wait til the playoffs, then the style won't work." Since they're not winning all these games it is "the team isn't any good."

Why can't we see what we have here over the course of the season and when it is time for the playoffs we can decide how good or bad this team may really be.

And that is fine?

Not sure if you were being sarcastic.

okay Green. so since no one can apparently say anything either way, are you suggesting we just shut the entire message board down until the playoffs are over?

Its not about "Suns still to find their game"... Suns are just slower... no one noticing that?

it takes more toll on their bodies to play at the higher pace, considering D'Antoni overplayed Nash the last 3 years...

And then you add Hill, who has been good. But at 35 you cant expect him to play that well throughout the season...

Amare?, he cant play full capacity either every game...

Bell?.... slower too...

Some of you guys simply need to stop assuming they will get better.... you have to factor in wear and tear and age on the team... yes the Suns are smarter, more polished together, but the way they play, which depends on speed and running... they can either play at full capacity and be worn the next game or slow a bit down and lose the matchup, since they play small but not so much faster.

Well, there's some people on this board that seem to think we should be satisfied with winning a bunch of regular season games and getting bounced in the postseason because it is accomplished in an "entertaining" style and is better than being bad.

My opinion? Losing the playoffs every year is not "entertaining" even if the score is 125-120 and there's nothing wrong with setting a standard of being the best when you have the best talent in the NBA.

Barbosa or Diaw didn't show up to play. The Entire point of getting Grant Hill was so that it would help deepen the bench. Just curious. When is the Bench actually going to show up and play?

Diaw has been worthless and Barbosa didn't show up. Skinner is the only person on the bench worth giving any playing time to other then Barbosa. If Barbosa has an off game this team is in trouble.

I am sorry but this bench is not as deep when Barbosa is having an off game.

What I'm saying is that we don't need to see posts after every game, win or lose, that read something like "it won't work in the playoffs, we stink, no hope" and the like. I mean, when the team wins people post about how they won't win in the playoffs. When the team loses, people post about how they won't win in the playoffs. That's 82 games of the same stuff no matter what.

Exactly. Couldn't agree more.
