That was a good team game, Gortat, Warrick, Carter, Nash all played well. We need Warrick to step up like this since we are short at the PF position.

Good to see the Suns finally win a game where Carter was big. And good to see Carter have back-to-back big games. 32/6/3/3. Warrick with a career high in his first start in place of Frye, 32/8/4. When was the last time we had two players with 30+ point games? Gortat with 13/16, helping Suns outrebound Rockets. Hill with 19 points and another great defensive effort. Nash with 14 assists.

Brooks had a very poor game, but the Suns actually outscored the Rockets in his stint in the fourth quarter, mostly thanks to Carter scoring at will.

Now if only Carter and Warrick could give us something close to this on regular basis...

And Warrick playing with five fouls with Pietrus double-technical'd out of the game.

As much as Gortat has meant to the Suns, I think he needs to keep practicing his "J" before he tries any more.

BTW, did you see the Lexus commercial at the end of the 3rd quarter? "See your Houston area Lexus dealer." We can't even get a break from the sponsor?

And, according to the announcers, Sarver didn't get a "T". He left on his own. Good move!

Who would believe the Suns win when Dudley, Pietrus and Brooks go scoreless. It's a good thing Carter and Warrick had monster games.

Wow what a game!

If VC & Warrick can consistently score in the 20s range for the rest of the season, we have a very good shot at playoffs.

Now that Carter is shooting mainly 3's, I think he has stepped aside for Frye when they are both on the court. Perhaps this will show him that his offense is still needed from the Shooting Guard position, even when Channing returns.

One thing you have to like is that he didn't just dog it against a bad Rockets team. That shows me that he still has a drive for the game. Now who knows how long he will maintain that.

The Rockets looked like anything but a bad team. They have been playing well of late.

How do you figure? They have as many wins as the Suns on the season. They still have a good shot at making the playoffs.

Wow... you go Warrick! He has so many dunk highlights. Rocket's interior defense must be kinda weak.

Carter had a good shooting game.

I was looking at standings and Rocket, Suns, Blazers and Grizzliy all won 7/3 for the past 10 games. Beating Rocket is very very important!

This was an awesome game!! I was there in the blue shirt sitting behind the suns bench, it was an awesome experience.

Carter and warrick had a monster game.. Lots of BS calls and missed calls.. This suns team and bench is very passionate and Vince DOES care.. If only you could see and hear what they were saying on the sidelines. All the players were smiling and high fiving each other constantly.. Nash is a pure gentleman.

This was a very nice must win. Keep moving up in that win column.. I hope we discover something huge in Warrick and he develops that nice mid range shot. Frye's injury could be a blessing in disguise.

Siler is funny guy, he was making faces at the cameras backstage at half time.

Overall this team is focused from what I saw.. The entire bench and staff were into the game and screaming.. Everyone was in on the huddle all the time. Everyone was talking to eachother about the game.

I like this team chemistry!

Yea and thats what worries me most because Vince is not known for his 3pt shooting. Sure he's hot now but that will cool off soon.

I'd rather him attack the rim more and go to the FT line more often.

Yea but he was going against Kevin Martin who isnt exactly known for his defense.

Lets see if he can keep this up on Thursday against a top 10 defender in Aaron Afflalo.

The scary thing is the Rockets played that well and they didn't even have Scola. It could have been even more of a struggle. I will take it though.

Scary thing is you can't expect AW to score 30+ points a night and Vince has not been consistent. This next couple weeks could be a huge struggle. Let's hope all these guys continue to step up.

A great win indeed. The sequence with Grant stealing the ball and passing it to Steve before being called for backcourt violation was my favourite play of the night. My neighbours had to know how Phoenix was playing (not that these rugby and cricket crazy fellows would care...). NOOOOO.... pause. YEEESSSS! :)

Rockets fan here...

Ok, if i had Lowry, i will get rid of Brooks too. Dont get why Aaron was pissed. Lowry is just better
the irony in it all is that what you saw lowry do yesterday is what brooks did all season last year, especially when they got martin and he didn't have to play with 3 offensively inept players in the starting lineup. Lowry's FG% was in the high 30s and low 20% from 3. he was not known for being a shooter, a good facilitator.

I think he's hit a hot streak right now, as a rockets fan it was so wierd to watch brooks pass more and kyle shoot more. I'd still give the edge to brooks because at the end of games he has that extra gear to break his defender down and create space. Being to many games, he's hit a TON of clutch shots.

The problem with him is that his confidence takes a hit real fast, a young player problem i guess. thats why he was so good as a starter, and played like **** when he came off the bench. with the suns its diff though ,he s perfect for the system. give him time, he's already gained most of his speed back since the injury, he was at least 2 steps slower at the beginning of the season and he missing his finishing touch which he will regain.

The problem with the rockets was not just his play, they knew they couldn't match his contract another team would offer so traded him. and regarding his contract situation they really played it low.

When a guy has such a good season at least give him his contract, especially when everyone else got it, and he just got injured. THat just screws with a person's head. he lost his starting job due to injury, couldn't make it back because lowry was playing better at the time. and his frustration and the team's horrible management led to this situation.

I would take him back in a second if i could. The rockets would not have beaten portland or even taken LA to 7 games without him.
Not a chance.

He had like 3 30 point games, and mostly 20+ point games that post season, just his 1st year getting playing time and starting for only 3 months.

You overlooked Hill's defense on Martin. It was superb. Held him well below his average.
