I was working and sneeked your post is it bad?

He took a hard line drive to the right side of his head. He was down for like 4 or 5 minutes, he was able to walk off the field unassisted but he was really swollen. I can't emphasis it enough, his face was jacked up. I'd be very surprised if he does not have some fractures.

he caught it right in the face, his face ballooned quickly. scary scary moment. thoughts are with him, I hope it's nothing serious.

They say he was bleeding from his nose and mouth. It probably does mean a fracture.

He will probably be out for quite awhile.

Monster game by the middle of the order tonight.

They shoulda let Trumbo stay in the game, only a double away from the cycle.

Thats amazing if accurate. Looking at him on the field I thought he'd be taking his food through a straw for the next 2 months.

Trade him before he turns back into Mark Trumbo.
Only if he turns back into the injured Mark Trumbo.

When healthy, as now, you trade him only for someone who would provide even more protection for Goldy. Certainly not to just get rid of him.

Credit where credit is due, he had a great game, I felt they should have left him in to try for the cycle. But what we're seeing right now is a hot streak, not his normal production.

He is a career sub .250 hitter who does not draw walks and has sporadic power, who also has hit poorly with runners on. He does not provide protection in the slightest, as was evident when the Pirates gleefully attacked him with men on 2nd and 3rd in a tie game and one out.

Trade him while he is hot, its a no brainer IMO. Unless the Dbacks think the NL is getting the DH soon then Trumbo's use is very limited.
