Rod Woodson and Terrell Davis on NFL Network...

discussed the Cards Panther game.

In the intro Eisen referred to the Cards as Rod Woodson's Cardinals. A remark Woodson welcomed.

Davis responded as saying he's been predicting them to make th playoffs for the last ten years so he FINALLY got it right. Davis went on to basically say that the Cards had no chance. Pretty much laughed at us.

Woodson said if it's a shootout, we win. In any case, he predicts us to win. He asked the question, "Who is going to cover Fitz, Q, and Breaston?" He answered his own question with, "They can't."

TD blows as a tv guy.

Woodson rocks.

MJ was basically saying the same thing this morning.

He said even if Q doesn't play, it's still a mismatch against Fitz on either side of the field. He said that if Carolina decides to have someone follow Fitz, it would probably be Gamble.

Basically, MJ said Carolina's best chance in this game would be to pressure Kurt into making quick throws and mistakes.

I rewatched the Cards vs Panther game frome arlier this year...Man so many chances blown..The Cards could have won that game by 10-14 points but they self destructed in the red zone several times. The Panthers did get a lot of pressure on Warner. The key to this game is prtecting Warner and giving him time to throw..a run game would very much help that out...

The Panthers did get a lot of pressure on Warner. The key to this game is prtecting Warner and giving him time to throw..a run game would very much help that out...

The run game (for us) will be better this time around. With Edge being "fresh" and TH a little more experienced, should make the run game better. Will that give us the "Edge" over the Panthers this time around? I hope do........
