So, what good things could actually happen this year?

1. Lopez could come back injury free and get back on track toward becoming a very good nba player.

2. Sebastian Telfair could finally find the system that makes him. Telfair was one of the most highly regarded prep players ever. But he found himself on the roster of a team that loves to draft high schoolers but is notorious for not developing them. If there is a place where Telfair's particular skills could shine and where he might actually grow, it would be in Phoenix learning from Nash. The Telfair signing is a lot like the Channing Frye signing. It is a chance to take a seldom used player and turn him into something productive.

3. Dudley or Brown could develop into a competent starter.

4. Markief Morris could take the starting pf position from Channing Frye.

I think #2 and #3 are the most likely. If the Suns could get three out of four they would be cooking. Lopez turning the corner would be more than I can ask.

I think several suns will have good seasons stat wise, but we won't win a ton of games.

We should all drink the koolaid heavy now because it will be too late once the season starts. :koolaid:

Gortat and Lopez will smother opposing teams inside and the Suns will get stellar play from both guard positions. Who would think Markief Morris would turn into a budding star.

All of that happens, and Suns still get into lottery. And keep pick

We'll have a jump on most teams because our starters are pretty much the same from last year & have been in the system long enough.

Our bench is going to decide how many games we win this season... can they give the starters enough rest to keep them fresh with all the back-to-backs & 4 games in 5 nights that we'll have? Can they step up when the starters are having an off night? Can the new guys (Telfair, Brown, Morris, Price) learn the system quickly enough in this shortened training camp & with no practices during the season to be effective?

I expect a lot of injuries & players having off-nights league-wide with the compacted schedule. I know the league would've lost a lot of money, but they should've just had around 50 games instead of making them play 66 after missing 2 months of the season.

No matter what happens this season, I really look forward to hearing Al McCoy call a game again.
