Not round 1, but ILB will be interested for the Cardinals in round 2.

Baron Browning and Jamin Davis have had very nice pro days and some have them moving up rankings. Nick Bolton is also thought highly of and Micah Parsons is LB 1. It all depends on how many ILBs go top 49 but I won't be shocked if Zaven Collins or Jamin Davis are staring us in the face at 49. I think I would prefer both to a RB, and I feel like there will be a HUGE rush on EDGE/OL/WR between 16 and 49.
No to Baron Browning or any OSU LB’s. Browning has all the athletic ability in the world but rarely makes plays or has an impact.

Absolutely a way one of them falls to 49. They play ILB which is a position of lesser value so it is tough to gauge if teams will prioritize other positions. Is it likely...probably not. But definitely a world where 3 ILBs go before we pick at 49 and Jamin Davis or Zaven Collins are not one of them.

Offensive players that have the potential to add something to the Cardinal offense they don't have / most teams dont have (and im skipping over guys who wont be at #16):

Jalen Waddle. Tyrek Hill potential. (yes: unlikely to be there, but of the top guys - he seems to be the one that occasionally slips down).

Kadarious Toney. Uber athlete who is a RAC specialist. Boom or bust.

Rondale Moore. a Darren Sproles playing at WR potential. Boom or bust.

Najee Harris. Size, feet and hands make for a 3 down back bell cow back.

Waddle is the only one at #16

Toney feels like the 20-40-ish range

Moore i just dont know.

Harris looks like one of those players that the teams at 28-32 grab because they know that quality will be long gone at their next turn -- i.e. they can take the top rated RB or the 3rd or 4th rated other position. (like the Chiefs last year with CEH).

Jaylen Waddle is the only player in that group that even moderately interests me in round 1.

certainly at 16

for the rest, i could see Toney and Harris going long before 49. The team could do the trade down in round 1 and use the pick gained to move up from 49 to grab one of them

Moore probably is there at 49

I know it’s not the biggest need, but if all the CBs and WE/Pitts are gone, I can see us taking Parsons if he’s there if there’s no good trade offers out there. His ability to rush the passer is different from what we have, and a Parsons/Simmons ILB core for the future is pretty tempting.

It's how I feel we should be thinking. Of course a little trade back would be nice, but I'm worried about reaching for scraps when we could snag a difference maker.

All the ILBs.

The Keimiest move would be to take Parsons at 16 and then move Simmons to S.

It seems more and more like an olineman will be the best player available for our needs if we stay at 16. Thinking Slater, Darrisaw, or AVT, but man do I hope Horn, Surtain, Pitts, or Waddle falls.

I’d jump in slater. Don’t think he’s there. He’s part of that 12-13 players that are tantalizingly outta reach.

I wouldn't mind Najee Harris. He is the pick regardless of position who would improve us the most and, unlike other positions, be ready to ball out with Kyler. We have speed to the edges with Kyler and the best WR in the game. Good luck stopping power bruiser Najee who has decent speed for his size and good hands as well.

This. As worried as I am at CB, a Farley isn't going to assuage my fears. At RB, adding another major weapon on offense could really step us up into the next echelon.

Earlier in the off-season process I was thinking CB then RB, but it's starting to become more and more clear to me that RB is going to be off the board by the time we pick at 2, and after the 5th round, it's next to pointless anyways. The talent at that point won't meaningfully contribute.
