Rudy...Rudy...Rudy...

Why did you cry to Coach before the season? Why did you threaten to transfer if you didn't start?

Oh how it has backfired in your face. Your a good qb who got completely full of yourself after your freshmen year. Had you had any humility...you would've waited for Sam to graduate for your turn to become the full-time starter. As a junior and senior you would've probably been at peace with the football Gods and met yours and ASU's expectations of successful seasons. Unfortunently you cried wolf and your Coach went along with it at his attempt to keep his job.

You have two choices. Fix the situation...or transfer. Karma is a bitch young man! lol :)

The Valley so low.
Well, he was good those few games last year. I think most of his trouble is trying too hard, feeling guilt, wanting to carry the team, and squeeze balls where his arm can't deliver them. We have a running game this year, so Koetter could call a long pass or two early and let the RBs and underneath stuff carry the team otherwise, and Rudy would be fine.

I agree, I'd be happier if we had Keller to take the heat (or not), and Rudy could develop for another year. But that's water down the drain. Koetter has to put last year's late playbook back in and learn how to mix passes and runs. Rudy has the talent to win 9, maybe more, with that. Unless the problem is that he's injured--then, kiss the season good-bye.

I agree with you Scot. Unfortunately this seems like one of those sophmore slumps you see all the time. If he doesen't get out of it then this season is over. At least the players will have some fun in Las Vegas during the bowls.
