if Tampa has any sense at all they will get Brees and swap firsts with the saints.......anyone paying attention has seen that Brees cannot win a big game without Payton on the sidelines...he will not be the same QB in Tampa that he is in N.O.

fair chance however that the superdome gets burned to the ground before Winston ever takes a snap............

Agree cannot see it happening. Live in a house full of Saints fans. They are already upset by the Graham trade. Brees traded I may have to put them in a psyche ward!!!! Either that or move out until they calm down.

If I were a Saints fan I'd be thrilled with that trade!!!

I will say that, imo, Brees has been devalued by the trade of Jimmy Graham.

If I were a Tampa fan, this wouldn't make me happy. Drafting Winston or MM would give you hope for the future. If this was a team that was stacked talent wise and was just a QB away from having a legitimate shot at a championship, sure pull the trigger, make the trade and sell out for the chance to win it all. But Tampa Bay is more than just a QB away. I also think that Brees is starting to lose it... If New Orleans wants to get rid of him, they must see it too.

That is a great trade for the Saints!!!! Breed is 36 years old. This is a no-brainier for New Orleans. I think Tampa would be dumb for doing it.

It makes perfect sense to me. Good thinking on Saints part. They peaked a couple years ago. Time to unload while prices are high, then reload-rebuild once again. That is my philosophy in action. Love the fact that they are loading up on 1st round picks. You go Saints!

Their other option is to continue to be a .500 team while battling the salary cap and watching your top players break down with age in the next few years.

Yea I'll take Brees over Winston
Bree's has at least 3 years left - equivalent to a 1st round picks time with the club
Bree's is 5000 times the leader Winston will ever be
Bree's will not be arrested and suspended for off the field actions
Bree's will not go crazy now that he's got $$$ (not sure if Winston will...but you know)
Bree's has never been accused of rape
Bree's has not stood on a table and acted a fool in a crowded room
I KNOW Bree's can play at a high level in the NFL ...who knows with Winston. Then again that's my philosophy...I'll take a proven vet over an unknown rookie with hype every day.

Yea I'd take Bree's over Winston in a heartbeat. IF and only IF I could talk to Bree's and get him wanting to come over. If his head and heart aren't in it...I'd look elsewhere.

I'd make a call to Chip Kelly as he's making some amazing offers right now!

I agree. Don't really understand why the just 2-14 bucs would make this swap though.
