So while you may think the Cleveland trade is "fantasy land", perhaps you should evaluate what world you're living in if you think Stoudemire is going to return a current All Star in a trade.

Well, there's a big difference between an All-Star and J. J. Hickson. The Suns have a right to expect to land something in the middle of that range.

And by the way, for whatever good the rumors are, the proposal that the Grizzlies shot down was for both Gay and Warrick, not only one of them.

Regarding your informant, if he's so trustworthy, why on earth don't you take him at face value when he says himself that he's purely speculating? Speculating means, "making things up." Seems to me, if a guy I trust tells me he's making something up, I'd be inclined to believe that he's making it up.

He's not saying that. He's saying that outside of Lebron James, Mo Williams is the only player on the Cavs that comes close to the value of Amare Stoudemire. The Cavs are a pretty good team, but you don't really have very good individual players outside of a few guys. Without Lebron, they'd be a lottery team.

I couldn't have said that better myself.

I've seen you post this same idea in several other threads and I just have to ask...

What other rumored deal out there has the Suns trading Stoudemire for another All Star?

The best player I've heard discussed in trade talks seems to have been Rudy Gay and the grizzlies shot that down pretty fast. So while you may think the Cleveland trade is "fantasy land", perhaps you should evaluate what world you're living in if you think Stoudemire is going to return a current All Star in a trade.

Not to mention your a Cavs fans so ofcourse you would be all for sending Amare to your team for total crap. The Cleveland deal ranks up there with one of the worst offers on the table. I thinks it's a safe bet to say the Suns could get young proven talent in exchange for Amare versus young unproven talent (JJ. Hicks) and crap off the Cleveland roster.

ESPN has given hints that Cleveland is not looking to trade away Wally's contract. If that is true, then we have nothing to worry about as far as the Cavs are concerned.

And neither LeBron nor Amare will go for it once it is explained to them that the game is still played with only one basketball.
