Good a place as any for running-commentary.

First, NFL.com seems to have a pretty good site for tracking performance. (Navigation is a bit tricky but the info is all there if you look hard enough).

Also - How about the way Armstead kicked off the forty yard dashes and set the sick standard of 4.65 (unofficial) for a 300+ lb OL.

Fisher did what he had to do with a 5.07. Cooper is being mentioned as being "right behind Warmack" in OG ratings & a Top 15 BPA candidate. Lane Johnson expected by Mayock to run a 4.80.

Finally, pay a lot of attention to the ten-splits (reflecting explosion off the snap).

They better keep Fluker at RT or a Guard position. He couldn't slide to save his life. Ugly feet and hips.

Waiting for Group 2 (Warmack, Long and Joeckel). Cooper looked like a beast in blocking drills.

Just to hear these ex coaches and GM's sit around and talk Draft,is like Christmas morning in February.

Dude..... Warmack looks like a new-age beast. His arm & shoulder definition for a guy his size is nuts.

Only a 5.55 40 though. Pulling may not be his strong suit.

Lane Johnson runs a second staright 4.75, but beats Terron Armstead's top OL split with a 1.61 clocking over the first ten yards.

Any more contributions about J.Cooper would be appreciated, greatly.

Specifically where do you fellas reckon he'll be snagged?

He is nursing a quad injury apparently. Maybe that affected his 40 time? Either way quickness off the line is much more important that flat out speed anyways.

Initial Oline Impressions:

- Far and away, day 1 favorite was Brian Schwenke, Center out of Cal. He was a stud in everything he did. Bench, sub 5 40, his movement (kick slide, etc.) in drills was the best of anyone IMO. Extremely smooth. Hes stout and thick and powerfully built. Not a major need, but if hes there in round 3+ (he wont be) Id take him in a heartbeat.

- Id much rather take Cooper or Warford in round 2 (if they make it that far) than take Warmack in the top 10.

- Wasnt overly impressed with Warmack. Hes a tad small compared to some of these other guys who put up better numbers than he did.

- Glad we took Housler when we did, hes blowing all these guys out of the water. This is a very unathletic TE group. A few will probably have good careers like Eifert, but otherwise this class is much weaker than I initially thought. *Vance Mcdonald looks like a steal. Ertz is blowing it.

- Fisher matching Joeckle step for step in everything. Fisher had an impressive 40 also. Watching LJ, Im not all that blown away. Id be very happy with Fisher at this point. Brown to RG. Use our 2nd rounder on the best past rusher or DB.

- On a sidenote, they mentioned how If Cooper was in a Zone scheme, he might be better than Warmack. Its been said that the Cards are going back to the Zone scheme. Cooper in the 2nd round (hes a RG too).

Tyler Bray throwing perfect balls to the TEs.

Bill Cosby could throw 'perfect balls' in a TE catching drill at the combine.

Bray is garbage BTW. Besides the fact that hes just a bad QB, he has the maturity of a 10 year old.

I like Bray....with the right coaching staff he could be a solid impact QB in the nfl....but the wrong staff...and you are correct, he is a wasted pick...

I happen to think AZ has that right coaching staff.....and I hope we pick him up around round three

No way Cooper lasts until the 2nd round. He is a mid first round lock and could even go higher. If the Cards have their sights on Cooper, they better take him at #7.

No question, Holian.

What we have to pray for is that Cooper doesn't slide to the 49ers at #31. Please no.

Not #7. 2nd round is wishful thinking. I know it probably wont happen. Although the #1 G last year, David DeCastro was a borderline top 10 pick and he fell to the 20s. So maybe the #2 G in this draft can make it to the early 2nd.

But I doubt it.

Heck, even if hes not there, theres alot of Grade A oline talent this year. Larry Warford is a great option. High chance he will be available.

And here comes the over analysis bull crap that happens during every piece of off season workouts. Fisher is a stud after the senior bowl! Warmack is too small with bad times at the combine!

Look at the tape..... Trust the tape...... It will set you free.

Warmack wasn't all world every game. He had struggles too.

I think there will be a ton of talent better than him at the top 10 of the 2nd.

One of the Arian's interviews had him stating that they prefer drive blocking schemes and will mix in some zone blocking. With the caveat that they will use whatever system that the oline does better with, play to their strenghts.

I'm hoping Keim is as strong willed and has the right long term vision for the Cards. Do we take Warmack who is more of a drive blocker than zone blocker or Cooper who seems to be more versatile than Warmack.

Mayock is gushing about Fisher and saying he is within a hair of Joekel.
