I officially now loathe Farve and Jets. There was no need for that last TD. They could have ended the game kneeling.

I kinda agree but don't. I think Cards need to be embarrassed. They deserve embarrassment. I hope Jets scores on them again. AGAINA AND AGAIN! When will this team wake up from 100 years of nightmare???

I believe Whiz should walk off the field without shaking his hand and should call this out in the media.

Maybe Mangini wanted to know how it feels to be like Billechick. Who did NE ran up the score (was it last year)?

That was Classless what can you say. Scoring the touchdown was one thing but going for 2 Low and classless. I am not a sore loser I understand that the Cardinals gave them the game in the 2nd quarter with the turnovers. We let this winable game away. But running up the score and then head hunting out there make me furious and is uncalled for. The Jets are just a classless Franchise and I hope that somebody does it to them somtime Soon.

Unfortunately, it did not come back to backfire on the Jets (i.e. throw a pick 6, fail conversion, etc.) I would have laughed my ass off had we won because of Mangini's greed

totally irrelevant. If the Cards make a play then they could've been right back in the game.

This is the NFL, these are professionals, to me there is no running up the score... Hell who would have thought we would get as many points after that pathetic first half... Even if we are the team that has someone run up the numbers on, I say do it. Score hard, score often.

Payback is a b*&ch. (not that it will happen) but to me it is the game, score as many points as you can, allow the least points that you can all within 60 minutes...

They were just breaking in Brett Favre. ;) "Running" up a score never bothered me. Until they institute a " white flag " rule, the defense of any victim needs to stop the other team.

The Cards were scoring every 30 seconds in the second half. I don't blame the Jets for wanting to be up by 21 instead of 20.

Do you even understand the game? I don't think so. This comment is so dumb I will leave it at that.

They deserved to get the score ran up on them today. I had no problem with it at all. If this doesn't motivate them to play ball nothing will.

The only issue I have is the two-point conversion thing. Really not necessary. Still, if you're up by that much, might as well see how your team does with it. At least I guess that is what the thinking was. Still not cool, but whatever.

Who do the Jets play next week? I hope they get spanked and not in a good way.

after I have simmered down I agree that there is nothing wrong with running up the score. I also feel that the response should be a chop block that makes Mangini think twice about going for two with 54 points on the board.

The Jets won't even be sore tomorrow and that is a shame

Thank you! I was waiting for someone to say it. It would be one thing if you guys were still down by 34 points by the end of the game but I watched the whole last half saying "Holy crap!! They're gonna come back and steal this thing!!"

The way you guys were scoring in the second half, I don't blame them at all for continuing to try to score. My philosophy on the whole "be a good sport and stop trying to score" thing is that when the other team concedes defeat and just lets the clock run out as fast as possible, then you stop trying to score. But if the other team is still trying to put points on the board, you should too. We've all been watching the NFL long enough to know that unbelievable comebacks can and do happen. The Cardinals were still running trick onside kicks and throwing the ball into the end zone literally until the last play of the game. If there was anything they could have done to get into position to take advantage of the Jets "dialing it back" they would have.

The "they're poor sports" thing sounds more like "no fair not giving us every opportunity to pull out a miracle." The logic is a bit ridiculous.
