Well, that's the thing, right? This front office isn't going to fire Whis with three years left on his deal--and that's probably an irresponsible choice. So is Whis going to stand up for Grimm to the point where they both stay or they both go?
Where the rubber meets the road is if Whis can listen to himself about looking at what players are doing NOW instead of looking at what they've done for you in the past. If he can apply that same perspective to his buddies on his staff, then I'll see that he learned something from this season.
If he can only realize that Joey Porter is finished five months after many of us did...?
