Let's see after the Rams game if Lindley can improve on his college career accuracy completion average of 55% (remember, that included those small schools that did not play pass defense and he feasted on them). If not, then we will see why the other teams passed on Lindley which was due to his major accuracy problems.

Why on earth would we ever EVER take a QB with accuracy problems?

Wasn't DA and the Skelton experiment enough in that department for a lifetime?

How about we experiment with highly accurate QB's for a change?

I said a couple years ago we should of went after and traded for Chase Daniel from the Saints, he's always been very accurate, he's exactly what this offense needs but instead we got Kolb, who's well Kolb and we paid a fortune for that too. It makes you wonder if these people drawing paychecks have a clue in terms of evaluating talent. I can understand why I might be misled on a player but I don't do this for a living.

I was all for Skelton last year, but he honestly seems to be regressing....

Whisenhut seems to do that to young QBs. BTW, Roethlisberger still hates Whisenhut. If anyone knows what a terrible QB coach Whisenhut is, Big Ben would be the one to know.

Lindley looks pretty accurate to me. He puts nice touch on the ball, puts it in the right spot most of the time. It's nothing like Skelton, where every pass is a jump ball and he never leads the receiver. But the numbers are the same. So that's weird. I wonder if his accuracy problems had more to do with decision making or something?

I'm fine with Lindley playing. They need to see what he has, but lets call this move what it really is: Whisenhunt's Hail Mary to save his job and the jobs of the coaching staff. If the Cards get that surge of momentum it's going to be much harder to can them in the offseason.

I think we all know too by this point, sadly. Whisenhunt is vastly overrated by many simply because the Cardinals went to the Super Bowl during his tenure.
