So I'm watching the game with my focus on Shazier who was the vCardinals number one target going into the draft and honestly I'm not impressed at all. I haven't seen that speed or explosiveness and man he looks real thin Pita flat out drug him 10 yards.

He's a fan of taking really bad angles and diving onto the floor.

I'm very happy with our pick. I hope Shazier turns into a player but man am I not impressed tonight

I'm pretty happy with Foote and Minter keep in mind Shazier is not a a pass rushing OLB

They've raved about Shazier all camp. Plus, he's had 17 tackles in 2 games. He's going to be fine. It's not uncommon for a rookie to play "slower" at first. He's still reacting to everything right now.

I didn't see the browns game just the Thursday night game and didn't impress me at all.

The Ravens game wasn't particularly impressive, but it was far from a bad game for a rookie LB either. Had we ended up with him, realistically he'd have ended up being a DWash replacement long term rather than a pass rushing OLB. A roll which he'd thrive in IMO.
