Safety Brandon Meriweather is returning to the Washington Redskins. The Redskins announced Tuesday that Meriweather has re-signed after a week of testing free agency. Meriweather returns for a third season in Washington, playing a position the Redskins hope to upgrade. His last two years have been marred by injuries and reckless play, including head-first hits that have drawn fines and a suspension from the NFL.
