That is right.

4-6 and going into the toilet bowl at super sonic speed.

A game like yesterday shows a team that is ready to give up and pack it in. No, not the player's effort, it is obvious the players are playing hard. But, how long can you expect professionals to follow leadership that is showing absolutely no reason to follow them. None. Zero.

You say success ? W/O Warner this team is 21-27 and going south.

An offense so bad it can't win if the defense picks off 5 passes, and forces punt, after punt, after punt.

Our head coach is acting like a 5 year old, which makes sense since I believe a 6 year old could put together an offensive plan. Sits the starting QB, who deserved it, but the team didn't. Lindley looked lost, like a player who didn't get any reps.

Really ? Sit the QB you give all the work to ? I understand but shouldn't the QB you put against a 8-1 team have gotten at least a little work ? And if he did get work how in the heck can a player be THAT LOST ? This system sucks.

Then to top it all off, there are reports they benched A-Dub.......hmmm.... Ok.

So, if anyone can get benched, why wasn't Mike "The Complete Failure" Miller not get his clip board taken away ? What wasn't Whiz benched for not having control of his own team and offense and allowing the travesty develop on the field.

Completely unprofessional, and I hope the backlash from the team is swift. Whiz deserves to lose the team after this game, season, and tenure. How can you trust the guy.

The Cardinals are who we thought they were.

Anyone really want to stand up and make some proclamation that this offense would be better with Levi Brown, Kevin Kolb, and Beanie "I have a 3yr old nickname" Wells ?

Our Head coach is who we thought he was. Without Todd Haley and Kurt Warner this guy is the joke he has always been. An offensive coordinator who cannot win without a defense to carry him, only he has gotten worse, and now even the best defensive efforts (5 INT's) can't bail out his horrible offensive system, that does not work. How many times can we assume Kurt Warner audibled out of the play call on the field ? I don't know if I could count that high.

As for a head coach ? 21-27 to be kind. That is his record without Warner, including three consecutive seasons with 6 game losing streaks. Worse thing ? He and his fat buddy will be back next year, and the only difference is Mike "I suck" Miller will be rightfully fired, and replaced with a "Adam Snyder" type replacement. Probably by the flaming bag of poop Whiz will find on his front stoop this offseason.

Two years where a HOF QB had a quick relapse of greatness and the Cardinals lucked out by it happening to them.

Without Warners two years of carrying this entire organization where would we be ?

We would be were we are but that much sooner ...... Same Ol' Cardinals.

This current team is so bad, and the coaching so bad that I have lost all hope on the season. Which is too bad cause we have a Superbowl winning defense, and defensive coordinator.

I will watch out of loyalty...........thats about it.

As for the future ? LOL. This is the same ol Cardinals. Season is over before Thanksgiving.

What is there to look forward to ? The 2 game losing streak at the end of the season ? The ridiculous free agency period we will have when the team signs no one claiming Levi Brown will magically fix everything, and Kolb at 29 years old just needs a little more time ?

Then watch our organization draft a running back, wide reciever, and 3 fullbacks ?

Same ol Cardinals. Get ready for hibernation for about 40 years.

This sucks.

About the only thing I can stand behind right now are the colors and the fans. The rest is a disgrace.

Venting ? Damn right. Is there truth inter-twined in there, Damn right.

What do you expect, it is not even Thanksgiving, and the season is over and it ended after a game where we picked off the Falcons 5 times, and caused 6 turnovers and lost.......not to mention there is no reason why there should be hope next season as well....what do we have to look forward to ? What has the current regime shown that they have a clue on how to build up anything or any part of a NFL offense ?

This sucks.

The only thing left to do, is point at, laugh at, and call our head coach a joke. Flippin' embarrassment.

Well I didn't think Lindley looked lost but he did seem a bit overwhelmed. By that I mean he knew the plays, what calls to make, where everyone should be lined up but the speed of the game and circumstances were a bit much.

I don't agree with Whiz pulling Bones at that moment, especially seeing how Lindley played but I understand why he did it.

None of us know how practice reps for the QB's were split during the bye week and we have heard whispers about changes being made so I'm guessing this was in the works. How many starts does Bones need before he doesn't flat out miss wide open receivers.

Simply far too easy to blame a game plan as being poor when your QB's can't come close to executing a simple pass.

The run game started off great so that part of the game plan was very good.

My biggest complaint/concern revolves around the QB situation. Whiz and company named Bones the "winner" of the competition and yet Kolb cleary outplayed him during the regular season and now he's benched for a rookie 6th rd pick.

And yes, if Levi and Kolb were playing today the Cards win.

Those audibles of Warners are part of the playbook, right. Part of the play calling, right.

Warner knew when to "kill" the original call based on the D's alignment and audible to the 2nd choice, the one already called in the huddle which was called into Warner.

Let's not kid ourselves thinking Warner was drawing plays in the dirt in the huddle.

Nice rant. I was at the game yesterday and it was painful to watch.

The OL wasn't even THAT bad yesterday(they played OK, we've seen them much worse this season), the QB was the biggest problem on the day (both of them)...not sure if it was always poor execution or just a QB being in a bad situation due to the nature of the play calls--probably a combination of both, I'd guess 70-30 QB to play calling.

It is ridiculous to sit here and keep giving the coaches excuses...they have had plenty of time to find the QB to fit their system and they have had plenty of time to build an OL and yet here we are in worse shape now (offensively) then we were when Whisenhunt took over.

I am resigned to the fact that Whisenhunt will return next year but I am hoping that the ownership forces him to make major changes to his offensive staff..meaning fire the whole lot of them and whoever is in charge of scouting college players and veteran free agents on the offensive side of the ball.

Really? Lets not act like Kolb is a very good QB either. Better than the 2 bozos out there yesterday but I can't forget him missing wide open WRs against the Rams and Bills. Kolb is an excellent back up QB IMO but not a guy who will lead a team in to the playoffs.

I also don't remember a holding or false start by the 2 OTs yesterday (could have been but I don't remember one) and we all know Brown is good for at least one a game.

With all respect given.

I could not disagree with that statement more. If those two are the answer, then what is the question.

"How can the Cardinals be more of an embarrassment on offense ?"

At least they have the excuse that they have backups out there to hide how bad the starters are.

I mean we are talking February! In Feb. someone looked at this roster and said, "Yep, that is good"

Scary.

Rugby where do you get 21-27? The Cards are 17-25 since Warner retired.

5-11, 8-8, 4-6. Are you counting games Leinart started?

Yep. The Leinart/Warner experiment went 4-1 & then Vince Young beat us in Leinarts one relief appearance

While I disagree with some of your points I do agree that this will be a pivitol offseason for the Cardinals which will tell us a ton about what the team will likely be over the next 5 years.

Have the Cards ever had a 12 game losing streak? Because that's what they're looking at. I hope Whiz is fired before the draft if that's the case. I'd hate to see him screw up the #1 overall pick and set this team back another 5 years.

Gentlemen, I'm not saying Levi and Kolb make this team an offensive juggernaut but I do think we would have scored at least one more TD off the other turnovers.

Potter had a very solid game for a 7th rd rookie playing in his first start
ever but he did get beat on several occasions. Gave up a sack or two and several hurries. Now add in we have 2 rookie OT's starting and it's much harder to give them both help on passing downs so it limits the playbook, but I digress.

Kolb has a very respectable completion % and QB rating, and it's light years better than Skelton and Lindley.

Like I wrote before who cares? Crap is still crap even if one stinks slightly less than the other. 9-20 for 64 yards! 3.2 yards per attempt! Those are barely better than Ryan Williams rushing numbers. I can't wait to see this prolific offense next week against a team where they scored an impressive 3 points with Kolb at QB. I wonder if Lindley will throw the ball 50 times Sunday.

The fans don't deserve this team.

A team deserves to have a prepared QB. and to be run like a professional football team.

In my opinion, that is not how you implement a new QB. In my opinion, you don't start benching players mid-game, by the handful in week 10 of the season after not doing so in the previous 9.

This is not some half-ass defense of John Skelton who have I repeatedly said for a while now, is not the answer.

Whiz is a head coach, and he should act like one. Sitting players midseason for mistakes on the field is 10 weeks too late if that is the protocol.

Seriously. After the season some of these players have had, to not be embarrassed in front of fans and teammates like some players were in this game is completely unfair.

Adrian Wilson gets benched but Daryn Colledge has yet to suffer that embarrassment, and he deserves it more than most. Not to mention didn't Kevin Kolb miss a wide open Larry Fitzgerald in the endzone (didn't even see him) against the Rams ? .......again don't know what to say when you pull this crap 10 weeks into a season.

Just seems like a ticky-tack, B.S. move by our head coach.

I don't think Ryan Lindley was the right move at that time given the situation, and yes, I though John Skelton was playing unbelievably poorly. Where was that quick hook before ? How is this going to help the team ? Was I the only person that saw how out of sync Lindley was ? Right move ? Sure. Wrong time ? I would have to sit down, and think of how I could determine a worse time to pull that move.

And when it comes down to it. The move didn't produce a win anyway.

Its less about the players involved and more about how the situation was handled as a whole. I think it was a bush league move by a coach whom has not done much in the last 3 years to warrant such bravado.

Whiz should have benched "The System".

That has been screwing up for years now. That was a complete, historic, debacle yesterday. Realize every time this team finds a new way to lose it is 1000 times more than anyone makes it out to be, cause the Cardinals have already found every single way to lose. Seriously. They defy logic and statistics all the time, so I guess it is a matter of time before they bend time and space to lose a football game.

When did this happen? It certainly wasn't during the game. Was it when Lindley scrambled 21 yards backwards for the sack? I thought for sure Whis would put Skelton back in after the half. If he did I think we would have had a chance to win the game.

And yet this staff named Skelton the starter. This organization either can't evaluate QB talent, is totally clueless at offensive scheme, can't coach up a Qb or all of the above.

This. i firmly believe Skelton had gotten the point and would have done his normal second half improvement
Whiz knew better than going with Lindley after the half but was too proud to change..

This may be HC K Whiz's final mistake. There was no reason to bench QB J Skelton at that time. After the game, durin the bye, even the 4th quarter. But not the 2nd quarter if a game the Cardinals were winning. Stupid, stupid move

we had our chances to win the game with Lindley, only our first round rookie dropped a pass to put us in field goal range, our #2 reciever dropped a 50 yard to bomb to put us in field goal range and our all-world HOF WR dropped a perfectly thrown ball to put us at the 2 yard line with 3 minutes left.

doesn't matter if he had "gotten the point" because he can't throw the ball unless he's facing a prevent defense.

What Cheese said. Skelton was putrid. We've seen enough. No need to ever see him again unless it's due to injury.
