Always loved this guy. Good call on "surprise" player so far I guess :)

Also Sam Acho tweeted earlier that "my boy" Stew is "Mega Legit" obviously talking about practice today. Good signs all around.

He looked good on Sunday - it would be great if he ultimately panned out. If nothing else, more quality depth which is always good in a 3-4.

In the old days the Cards would take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. Now the Defense is taking 3 steps forward and the offense is taking 2 steps back.

But at least now we're getting somewhere.

So far, so good! I hope his pay cut involved incentives to get some or most of back if he has a great year.

When defensive players have to think too much---they struggle big-time.

The more you think about it---not only did he have to switch from the 4-3 to the 3-4 last year---he had to learn all the calls as the Mike backer. With NO off-season.

Talk about having to think.

Lenon was used to making the calls and he had been playing in the 3-4...and had been productive.

In that scenario, Bradley was going to have a very difficult time beating Lenon out.

I still think they have him at the wrong position---he should be the SOLB where he can force the run from the edge, rush the passer and cover the flats.

If you listened to the Big Red Rage, the only guys who knew the defense last year were Kerry Rhodes and Paris Lenon.

They did most of the calls. Everyone else struggled until much later, when the turn around happened.

And Kerry Rhodes was hurt over half the year :(
