He was playing in the group behind me yesterday at my golf course. It was former NFL players him, Mike Doss, and DeVier Posey.
After railing on him about not having his foot in at the Super Bowl, I got talking to all them about Marv.
They think he’s going to be an absolute stud and the 1st year is a complete blur and culture shock. They said the position he’s in, being the #1 option, is tough for a veteran much less a rookie.
They also said, next year with a year of NFL weight training, an off season to get acclimated to NFL lifestyle, and the game slowing down, watch out.
Just thought I’d share. It was pretty cool talking to them. All good guys.
