Some one said this in the Game thread...

I hate to see the SUNS in this situation...

Kerr should do whatever is in his power to get us back on track. I'm disgusted by this.

Keep: Barbosa, Amare, Dragic, Richardson

Trade or do whatever to: Nash, Shaq, Hill and the guys I can't even spell their names...

Phoenix owes Nash and Hill so much, but their time is over. Time to get this team back on track.

Dude, if you ain't keeping Dudley (7th man) and Amundson (8th man), something is wrong with your roster right from the jump....

Hell, in all reality, we could see Dudley as a starter next year, depending on Hill and Barnes. And that ain't such a bad thing. The dude is a a baller, period....

We should see Dudley as a starter next year, unless Hill returns. Barnes cannot be asked back, and since it appears that the Richardson experiment hasn't worked, the Suns might as well try to trade him if they can find a taker.

Im equally frustrated as I am loving how Dudley has become not only a great shooter but a solid defender and hustle man for us. How long did it take for him to find his stride?!? Argh!

Richardson? What are you on? Seriously.

Keep: Amundson, Dragic, Barbosa, Hill, and Dudley

Definite 100% must go: JRich and Barnes

The rest should be shopped for possible good deals

Why keep anyone? They are all on the table as far as I am concerned.

Only drastic changes can turn this team around or we will forever be the small ball, no defense, run and gun team that we were the last 20 years.

Agree with everything except your ridiculous Richardson comment.

I'm cool with that... Richardson is still young and a good player nevertheless... if we can get something in return I would not mind him being gone....

But I cannot convince myself that we should let go of Amare!

IMO if the Suns can get anything near fair value for Amare they need to trade him. The Suns need more young talent on the team and Amare cannot carry the Suns alone. I'm thinking the Suns need to revisit the Larry Nance trade philosophy if they can get good talent/ picks in return. Through the gross misuse of draft picks by the FO the Suns are deprived of young talent waiting in the wings.

I still want the Suns to get Aldridge and parts for Amare, but I'm not so sure how likely that is now. It would have been ideal this year (ie, Aldridge/LaFrentz for Amare), but now LaFrentz is off the books this summer, so any other player from their roster adds value to the Suns' side of the trade, which I don't think would be fair anymore....

The Blazers would decline Stoudemire for Aldridge straight up, even if there were a way to make salaries work without adding extra value.

Nash for Batum/Blake/Rodriguez to start the rebuilding. Blazers have 5 very good wing players in Roy/Outlaw/Rudy/Batum/Webster, they certainly would have no big problem to part with anyone but Roy there.

You keep Richardson, Amundson, Dudley, Dragic and Barbosa. You then trade or or get rid of everyone else. Unless he becomes a necessity to use in a trade to get rid of some of this teams baggage, there is no reason to get rid of Richardson.

Also, to the people talking about keeping Hill. He has stated several times he won't play for a team in rebuild mode.

He has also stated he wants to come back and play in Phoenix under Gentry.

Yep but that is also probably because he thinks the team will "retool" again. If this team dumps Nash, Shaq and possibly Barbosa....Hill will run to the "hills". I would be surprised if he wants to stay.

Besides, how much longer can Hill keep this up. He has been GREAT this season. However, at some point this team has to look to the future and stop relyingon over the hill vets.

Hill has no trade value, Hill is cheap, there is no reason to get rid off him if he doesn't want to and he would be a fabolous guy to have around young guys when rebuilding in my opinion.

I would be great if Hill stayed with us regardless and retired as a Sun. I hope he stays with the organization in some way after his career, maybe doing TV work for the Suns.
