Footwork = accuracy.

(Footwork can and is taught)

There's so much more to it then that. Just like not every body has the same physical capabilities, not every brain processes spacial relationships the same. Footwork and arm motion a factors but there's a good deal of innate ability when it comes to throwing an object and hitting another moving object with it.

Yep

To me it's more about skill with a big emphasis on ball placement & timing

FWIW i like him in the 2nd round although its unlikley hell last that long.

QBs that intrigue me (other then Teddy) are Manziel, Mettenberger, Carr (specifically in Arians offense) and Hundley. Mariota and Winston are both my no brainer guys but both will be back in school next year. Winston/Mariota will be Luck/Griffin next year mark it down.

What about Kevin Hogan? Or does he stay 2 more years?

When I watch Hundley I see Jason Campbell, and Campbell actually had significantly better passing numbers

Me either. When I watch him, I can't get the thought of I'm watching Jason Campbell out of my mind. Solid QB, journeyman, but really not a starting NFL QB long term.
Exactly my impression of him.

As I said for the most part. Still takes a lot of talent & skill. Perfect footwork doesn't make a 70% passer

Mediocre accuracy while in college makes for horrid accuracy in the pros. Be it footwork or whatever, an inaccurate passer will always be inaccurate. You want a QB for the NFL, you better draft one with great accuracy in college. The only time once can gage a QBs inaccuracy rating in college as not a huge factor is when his team stinks, his WRs run crap routes, no running game and his OL is putrid...which for the most part would give us a good indication how he would play for the Cardinals then regardless for the most part seasons before lol

I personally love this UCF QB Bortles. There are things to criticize, I know. But I love his size, strength, running ability, and him being a winner. I think he would be a great pickup for us to sit behind Palmer for a couple years while he learns and improves his accuracy. I think this kid will be a star in the NFL in a couple years and that a lot of teams will be sad if they don't grab him.

Here is my order for us of prospects who actually might fall to us (I won't include Bortles since him falling that far seems slim to none):

1. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama
2. Cameron Erving, OT, Florida State / Cyrus Kouandjio OT, Alabama
3. Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio State / Vic Beasley, OLB, Clemson
4. Zack Martin, OG, Notre Dame / Cyril Richardson, OG, Baylor
5. Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech

I'd dig it if our draft shook out like this

Eric Ebron North Carolina TE
Bryon Stork Florida State C
Demarcus Lawrence Boise State DE/OLB
Zach Mettenberger LSU QB
Bruce Ellington South Carolina WR
Isaiah Lewis Michigan State S
Jalen Saunders Oklahoma WR/Punt Return
