Yeah I am not a big conspiracy theorist but I agree with this. This was all about the NFC East race. It's the same reason why this game wasn't flexed for tonight. It's all about ratings. I cannot in good conscious watch what I just saw and not think that some Cowboys-Eagles battle for the end of the year factored into those calls and noncalls. That was a disgrace, disgusting and pathetic and was the epitome of what is wrong with the NFL today. I'm absolute disgusted.

Lol this is just looney tunes.

Nothing looney tunes about it. Take away the INT, no PI call on 4th down, followed by "defensive holding" on a 3rd down to let them run out the clock. Complete B.S.

The NFL is all about the $$$.

Soooooo... What? So the Eagles can miss the playoffs? Are you saying that the nfl is going to rig the Niners losing out so Philly can make the playoffs? This is the dumbest freaking theory maybe ever. Can any of you conspiracy goons explain how this makes any sense? Because saying that it's all about the money is just making this fan base look like complete imbeciles.

The refs screwed us, no doubt, but I don't buy the conspiracy angle. We didn't play well enough to make up for bad calls and that's still on us.

Talked to someone who went to the game, and he was very upset. He said that the ref threw the flag after Peterson picked off the pass..I want to see video of this.

For those saying bad calls helped the Eagles is lunacy, driving home from work just now I had on 610Wip, whose morning show is complete homerism personified, even they were saying the Eagles benefited from some questionable calls. Of course they think they got jobbed on a couple calls themselves but there you have it. When the other team`s homer commentators said the officials stunk there has to be some merit to our accusations.

My question is can and should holding even be called when it occurred behind the line of scrimmage. I didn't think holding is even possible in that scenario. The hold itself was ticky tack at best and it happened behind the line of scrimmage.

That was the worse screw job I have ever seen in the NFL. TO make those calls in a gae of that magnitude...They should be fired. I have never been so mad in my life. I wish Arians would have put a scrub in...and they would have just cracked the hell out of that ref. I don't care....I get fired at work for making less mistakes. That ref should be put in the hospital!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The NFL should be ashamed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. Just freaking wow. It is a game.

we didnt deserve to win with all the mistakes and turnovers. We had a few big plays called back but it happens, we lost due to our own mistakes.

Yes we got jobbed and there some crap calls, but the conspiracy aspect is just dumb

Yep , I can remember a game between the (then) St.Louis Cardinals and (then) Houston Oilers (in Houston) In the early 70s . The Cards got jobbed worse than yesterday , but Hart , Otis , Metcalf , and Co. set their jaws and kept finding a higher gear . I bragged all week at work on how they beat both the Oiler team and the officials . We don't need to make excuses for our team bringing their --C-- game to Philly yesterday , it happened and we lost .

Maybe, maybe not. If the Cards were running away with the game that's one thing, if they are in a close one and it's coming down to the wire, what do you think the league would prefer, the Cardinals beating Philly potentially knocking them out of the playoffs in week 13 or Philly winning continuing the divisional drama setting up a potential winner take all situation week 17 between the Eagles and Cowboys for the revenue rich NFC East? If you don't know the answer, look as to why last night's game wasn't flexed between NFC East rivals who are two of the worst teams in the NFL for the Cards-Eagles which had heavy playoff implications for both teams.

No matter what the Cardinals were not coming out of Philly with a win. That became evident after the Ricky tac flag on Peterson's pick, more evident after the blatant hold and pass interference on Floyd on back to back plays that was never called and painfully obvious after the cheap call for holding on Shaugnessy on a freaking lineman no less.

Did the Cardinals deserve to win the game? I don't know. Did they deserve a fair chance to be in position to win that game? Without question, but unfortunately they were denied that fair chance by the officials in the end.

All that being said I don't think yesterday's game was rigged, fixed or whatever else. But I do think certain teams get a home field advantage during critical points in the game there is no way else to explain what is going on.

Well, the Cards played so poorly, with so many mistakes, earlier in the game that they put themselves in a position where bad calls, which happen to both teams in almost every game, could make a difference.

It sucks, but we can only blame ourselves at the end of the day.

just total BS. If Palmer hits Floyd or Roberts on deep touchdown bombs, we probably win. If Palmer even just hits Roberts on a WIDE OPEN 3rd down with 2 minutes left, we STILL have a shot to go down and win. If Peterson actually picks off that pass in the endzone, we probably win. If the defense didn't lay down and DIE at the end of the half, giving up a 4th and 2 and an eventual TD and then rolled over to start the third, we probably win. But OUR TEAM couldn't do that.

"No matter what the Cardinals were not coming out of Philly with a win". That's a joke man. We played like complete and utter crap for 2.5 quarters. If we play well for even 2 quarters, nothing could have stopped us from winning.

IMO it's holding if the alleged receiver was trying to get into a passing lane but in this case HE WAS BLOCKING. Terrible call. Washington was right to flip.

So...did the Eagles deserve to win with their stellar play in the second half, no because they were horrid in the second half as we were in the first. We can say what we want, but those calls at the end made it impossible to win. I look at the score, it was close and that tells you both teams deserved a right to win but the Cardinals did not have a equal chance.

In the last 5 minutes of that game there was no way they were winning that game. How can you look at those calls and non calls and think otherwise. I agree the Cards should have played better and their first half play should have put them in a better position, but with five minutes left and it being a close game you will not convince me that those refs were being fair and objective. The game was decided by that point at least in my mind.

BS. We had our chances and blew it regardless of those calls. Or are you going to just keep ignoring that on first down, Palmer threw a ball that led Roberts directly out of bounds when he was wide open for a 5 yard game...or when he missed Roberts WIDE OPEN on 3rd down for what would have likely been a thirty yard gain with NO ONE near him. Did the referees makes Palmer make those two throws, one of them COMPLETELY AWFUL on 3rd down? No. We had our chances and blew it. BOTH of those plays happened in the last 5 minutes and the refs had nothing to do with either of them.

That's because the Cardinals were in on the fix. That's why you see the Cardinals players get so mad. They hate it when they have to follow a script that forces them to lose a game.

Games have been fixed forever. Even our SB. Down 20-14 with 3 minutes left and miraculously Pittsburgh gets called for holding in the endzone and then Fitz who has been blanketed all day suddenly gets wide open as the Steelers defenders run over to the sidelines to chat with the cheerleaders and then Francisco miraculously falls down and then Santonio Holmes drops the scripted TD pass so they have to run it over again to the other side.

You should see if you could get some work writing some of the scripts.

:D
