the scary thing is, all those drives average . . . 17.7 yards/drive. ulp, that's under 20...

Coaches do say that players' (Hall) improvement doubles from game one to game 2 so I'm looking for 35 yards per drive this week and another win.

You guys are going to be unpleasantly surprised Sunday when the Cards play against the Hawks D. This is not the same team as last year and the years before. Hawks have the #2 rush defense in the NFL and I believe they're a top 10 overall defense. They are a lot bigger, faster and very physical. No one knew how well the pass rush would do, but they have just punished QB's this year. The secondary started off bad, but they're starting to look pretty good. Bears were 0-12 on 3rd downs last week. Lawyer Milloy doesn't look like a 37 year old, Earl Thomas is going to be a superstar safety, Kelly Jennings looks much better then in passed years and Marcus Trufant is playing like he did his pro bowl year. Walther Thurmond, a rookie is going to be a really good CB and Roy Lewis is having a career year. If I were the Cards I'd be very scared at the Seahawks D. The offense is starting to click and adding Marshawn and Mike Williams playing like a first round pick that can be a scary outcome to their opponents.

Earl Thomas is going to be a superstar safety,

Ahhh wait until that midget tries to double cover on Fitzgerald. It'll be TD City for Arizona.

Did you actually read ANY of the posts in this thread? We look bad even when we play bad teams so yeah, we know we might get blown out this weekend. I just think we're hearing a little more crowing from Seahawks fans than expected.

We should be in pretty good shape if that happens. I figure our special teams will start us out on the 65 yard line most of the time.

Um, have you seen our last two road efforts? We have, and I'm guessing that around 95% of Card fans here would not be surprised to see them get destroyed.

did gohard 83 become a Seahawks fan? This sound exactly like his postings on the niners. Everyone's a superstar and the Cards should be scared, blah, blah, blah. I doubt any NFL team is scared of another, especially one with the Seahawks record over the years. I think me, Duckjake, Wisconsin Cards, and Mulli could line up and get 4-5 sacks on the Bears, so you can throw that game out. Didn't the Giants ring them up for 10 sacks. SD they were the beneficiary of 2 returns. They'll likely win Sunday but don't go making them out to be any more than what they are, 1 Hasselback back flareup from being a 5-11 team again.

ok easy there turbo our D hasn't been punishing QB's we had a good game against the bears awful O-line and we have had some good pass rush but there is still a lot of room for improvement that being said at this point nobody is being able to run on us and our run D is very good and i think our D-line is about double the size of last years

It is a tough game. Regardless of record. How many times they play, twice a year.

And with many of the same players for several years. They get to know each other fairly well I would imagine. This will be Adrian Wilson's 9th division game in Seattle for instance. 7th for Dockett and Fitz.

First for Hall.

I've always hated the Seahawks LB core (in a good way if you are a Hawks fan), curious to see them his year. I worry more about linebackers when it comes to a rookie versus the secondary. Hopefully Hall smokes them once or twice to keep it interesting.

Keep an eye on Ben Patrick. He had 5 catches against the Saints. Though there was one we would like to forget.

Seriously, have you watched any Seahawk games? I would assume so since you are a fan, but while the Bears got their asses kicked we have been getting and pressuring the QB a lot. So don't try to sound like "the cool seahawk fan talking down to another" These Card fans completely over reacted at what I said

You card fans took what I said comepletely wrong. I was simply giving you an update on the 2010 Hawks. The ones who got so offended at what I said have some serious complex issues. I mean its not like I said anything untrue or started the name calling. Its like a UW fan talking to a WSU fan. Just cause we're talking about football doesn't mean I'm insulting your team. Get over yourselves..

Lol, if your going to call people out, call them out by their name. You talked about what your run defense was ranked #2 (THATS REAL) and then you go on about how you personally believe your over all defense rank is #10 over all.
So some of what you posted was opinion. Nobody accused you of name calling.

It's hard to take you seriously when everybody on the team is "great". Mike Williams had 11 catches on the year for 178 yards before last week and only more than 2 twice. Lynch hasn't been a starting RB for 2 years.

Hawks have the #2 rush defense in the NFL and I believe they're a top 10 overall defense.

Yes You are #2 as of right now, but is it because of the powerful rushing offenses you have faced as of yet.

Niners 28th
Broncos 32th
Chargers 13th
Rams 17th
Bears 26th

Or is it because you are ranked 30th against the pass giving up 290.8 yards a game and teams do not need to run. Total yards you are 24th and 12th in points allowed, so no you are not a top 10 defense.

But the Cards are 6-2 in the next four weeks after losing after the bye week on the road.

:p
Yeah, but if any of those 4 games after losing on the road after a bye week takes place (a) when the moon is full, (b) when it rains or snows, (c) when it's the same date Lindsay Lohan comes out of rehab or (d) are played when the Glendale roof is half closed - we have a 57 in 93 chance of winning each of those 4 games.

You obviously didn't read Hawkmandan's analysis close enough. The entire NFC starting unit for the Pro Bowl is going to be Seattle's defense.

1. No we aren't, we know who and what we are.
2. Only when I have to. Does it count that weekly I hope they lose?
3. No we didn't, you comments were simply responded to--there was no over reaction.
4. Not really, you stopped in with your update trying to get a reaction, you failed. Deal with it.
5. No one really came across as offended. We are way tougher than that.
6. Take your own advice.

Nice find Dawg.
I always thought my first avatar bet would be in ASFN. I got 8 points and the redbirds in a 3 week avatar bet going on in the seahawk forum.
