Look at the play where Kyler is when he gets the snap and where Dortch is set up. If Kyler throws the ball backwards Dortch is literally going to have to run back to catch it.

Dorth was supposed to throw the ball backwards he has to know he caught a forward pass

It's clear as day to see it, especially when you look to where Conner runs to, he's expecting it backwards there

Conceptually you could. All that has to happen is one goes backwards. But pragmatically it would be stupid to have the second one go backwards. Defeats the purpose of catching them unaware and getting a big play if it’s going backwards.

Probably right but the mistake on that play was NOT Kyler it wsa Dortch.

My assumption is THAT Was the trick part of the play the 2nd pass is backwards not the first one.
