The St. Louis defensive line destroyed Seattle's last week. It'd be nice to see an active game from our interior line, but I think we're going to see a glorified preseason game.

I understand the whole 'we play to win' but you play to win the Super Bowl, and for all intent purposes this game is going to have probably meaningless connotations to that objective. If one looks at a single game as a microcosm of the season, this would be like taking your QB out in the fourth quarter of a game so he does not get hurt, and this is the fourth quarter of the regular season which we have won

IMO lots of players on both sides will start but not play the whole game. Both coaches are saying the right thing on winning, going all out, etc.
I don't buy it. The real key is injuries. Neither team wants to lose any players from a meaningless game especially if Panthers are winning big against the Bucs and I think they will.

Disagree with this. A lot. I said before this team is like a snowball, when you let it roll downhill it picks up steam and is unstoppable. Our best games were our short weeks, our prime time games also, when we just played and rolled one game after another. Our "bad" games were when they had rest and came out flat.

I also think it's more than just this year. I believe it's important to stomp Seattle. Dominate our division. It's important going forward. We've all been fans a long time. It all carry's over, from one season to the next. Can't show weakness. Don't let any team, especially in our division, see a weakness. Not any weakness, ever. It's important going forward. Stomp them into the dirt and move on. It'll pay dividends going forward, we can't show weakness at all in this division.

Worrying about injury will just make them come harder next time. That's fact.

If we put Stanton in, I highly doubt anyone with half a brain will say we showed a weakness but rather will say stupidity is not one of our weaknesses. It is called winning a freaking Super Bowl and we cannot do it without Palmer and that is a reality every team has and do not have if their starter gets hurt. The only people who really want Palmer in is probably Seattle believing they will play us again and want to take him out (it is not dirty, it is called the reality of football, and they will want to hit him). I say let Palmer get his franchise passing record of 73 yards or more and then get ready for the playoffs and let Stanton play out the season and I would even take Peterson out
