There's a lot of people on here I don't agree with but I don't ignore anyone. That's like sticking your head in the sand or putting your hands over your ears, little kid style. We live in a society with differing viewpoints and annoying people but it all contributes to the whole. Don't put anyone on ignore. You'll only read people you agree with and whom agree with you and that's so damn boring and unenlightening. Reconsider.

I can't and won't ignore anyone. Never have put anyone on ignore since I been in the forum world. Like you said Dark, the forums would be boring without the negatives and positives.

I ignore a lot of people but I just do it the old fashioned way. It's been my experience that most people have things to offer although the frequency varies considerably. I usually just read the opening sentence of a post and I have a pretty good feel for whether I want to continue reading or not.

Are you positive? Have you checked? Myself, I'm not going to do anything to risk my "manhood" without serious assurances from a whole bucketful of experts. If enough professionals sign off on this I might be willing to take the gamble but rest assured, I'll be checking my "manhood" hourly for any signs of disturbance.

But for real, mods I believe this poster has openly referred to me as an "idiot". What are the forum rules on name calling? Seems to me the forum is against that??

I think it's "confrontational" to start a thread on a sports fan site telling them their season is over just two weeks into the season. There's nothing wrong with holding that opinion but for myself, I'd probably establish a presence on a forum before I started that kind of thread. To me, what you did was just asking for confrontation. Again, not wrong, not inappropriate but destined to create negative responses.

I might have to take the blameski on this one amigo. I really valued his posts on the other Cards site, in return I posted some obvious observations which I found amusing. The next thing I know he was banned for a minute over there and then showed up over here. If he ponied up the dough while not putting me on ignore.... I think he is waiting for me to slip up on some infraction, maybe namecalling or something. He may get his revenge,

We haven't even lost a game yet, when we do I expect the bright and cheery 'told you so" posts to begin. :head2head:

I've always wondered, what happens when you push that "report" button? Are there sirens? Do secret cameras launch into action? I'm tempted to push it just to see. Anyway, I don't read the "Official Cards" board anymore, haven't in years. I have no history with this new poster and no problems. I just think you have to expect some reaction if you start a thread like this one and maybe he wasn't quite ready for some of the responses. But I'd hate to ever be a part of chasing away a poster.

Word. I've been reported several times from what I hear, but I do get rowdy at times. From what I hear, I haven't been reported in a while.
You can't choose your neighbors but you can be a good neighbor, to a certain extent, so I dig what you put down.
Ha! I thought the season was over? I hope that people who thought the season was over didn't watch the game. Alone in their division. After all the "season is over". Cheers to all!
