I plan on not paying a dime until we know there is a season. If they sell my seats so be it.

I don't have season tix but I'm good for 3-4 games a year driving over from Albq. My wife has been out of work for 18mo now so I'm in no way sure if I'll be attending games next season

Hey, I've watched more than one Cardinal game at Spectator's Sports Bar on Eubank near Juan Tabo.

Including the Cards win over San Diego in 1998 to make the playoffs. Dang I've been going to ABQ for a long time.

So, what happens if you don't pay? I'm in the same boat - don't wanna pay until I know there will be a season. I mean, what can they do? take your seats away? It's not like anyone is gonna buy those seats anyway.

As a member of the big red support team working with season ticket holders. We have gone through all season ticket holders almost two times. I can tell you it appears that 99% will renew! If you don't put your deposit down on april 15th you will lose your seat and if you are willing do do that fine! I'm not and will renew to see NFL football when it begins so I can control my seating.

If you like being there when the action happens don't be foolish and let your tickets go! Ticket holder from 1988.

If you don't renew your seats are up for grabs for everyone. Existing ticket holders that want to move, new fans and of course ticket brokers that are willing to take a one year loss for the rights to the seats in the future.

I just looked at my renewal packet for the first time today and noticed a few things that nobody seems to be talking about. What if the season is played with replacement players? There is a lot of stuff about how and when you can be refunded but it doesn't say anything about sending Keanu Reeves on the field as QB. In fact the only place it even comes close to the subject (close like Arizona is close to Japan) is this line from the league policy on refunding ticket/parking payments

"Please note that the terms of this policy apply only in the eventthat Arizona Cardinals games are canceled."

I read that to mean, any scrubs thrown out in a Cardinals uniform on game day counts as a game and the refund policy does not apply.

When the Cardinals called me a couple days ago to, "ask if I had any questions" it seemed to me that they did a lot of talking but little answering of the actual questions I asked. Most notably the questions about replacement players.

So, now I am wondering what everyone here thinks because I am thinking that I will hold on to my money as long as I can. I have no intention of paying top dollar (my ticket price freaking doubled when they built the new stadium) for replacement players. I don't care about the 'Early Bird' offer of Super Bowl ticket because that game may never be played.

I wont be able to renew as I just moved to L.A., have newborn twins, and will be graduating with my Masters degree. Suffice to say, I wont be able to attend even half the games. I will buy one or two single game tickets for next season but that's it.

If Keanu leads the Cards to a Super Bowl then :beer::clapping:

I'm renewing, and am hopeful that there will be a full season. And, my thanks to those that aren't renewing that will allow me to upgrade.

I personally VERY MUCH doubt seesred comment of 99% renewals.

The Cards ticket staff seems to disagree. Every time I've talked to them, they pretty much say I'll be able to move tickets around and get even better seats, no problem. They are expecting a lot of attrition. Perfect storm of lockout, economy and bad football last year = #winning for those that want to upgrade/add.

Seems kind of harsh from a member of a team that wants to pump up current season ticket holders and retain renewals, just saying.

I was indeed called three times, someone left me a message all three times, I didn’t call back because I have no questions, but also haven't made a decision yet. I never committed to renew so am I considered in the 1% or is the 99% those that were actually spoken to and told whoever talked to them that they would renew? Could they have just said that to get you off the phone?

No one can claim 99% renewal rate until 99% of those deposits banked.

Also a season ticket holder since 1988.

I don't mean to sound harsh. I'm just telling you what I have learned. The team calls 6 days a week and can generally call 75-100 accounts during that time. Hearing from other team members it sounds like most are unhappy with the situation but want to hold onto their seats knowing that someday this will be history. I have personally had only 1 hang up and 1 who said he wont give them money not knowing if games wqill be played.

Tha fact is if you don't renew you will lose your seats if someone picks them up after June 16th. I love the team and I love my seats. As many know if you have been there since 1988 it's been tough till 2006. New stadium, new coach,3 winnings seasons a super bowl and then the bomb from last year.

I've been on this board from almost the start. I enjoy you're comments, ideas and predictions. I mean nobody and harm or harshness(word?), I hope we all see games as soon as possable and be there once again to cheer on our team. I don't worry about owners, agents, unions etc..Boys just wnta have fun.

seesred - I dont buy what you are selling! I have been called twice and spoke to two different people. Both tried to stay very upbeat but both confessed that alot of if not most of the fans they are talking to are having reservations about renewing.

I told both of them I got my invoice but am unsure of whether I will renew. I also got asked multiple times if I had any questions. And I did! First was why is DA still on the roster? I explained how I will not pay one red cent until I know I wont ever be paying to see DA in under center ever again. But my biggest issue right now is the team does not have a product to sell so why should we have to bank roll the operation until they do. Personally if they would say "we will have replacement players, no games will be missed" I would be happy to renew. But to try and get money out of my pocket when you dont have a product to sell is a bit odd to me. I know I would never pay up front for something from a company if they said the product is back ordered and they cant tell me any timeframe as to when it will be in stock. So why should I do that right now while a bunch of cry baby millionaire players and a bunch of billionaires bicker over how to dice up 9 billion dollars!

Yes, they become available if not reserved

I'm still undecided but definitely considering letting my tickets go. Lots of factors have made it harder and harder for me to spend the money and devote the time for having season tickets. The work stoppage is making it easy for me. The final straw I guess.

I got called by the team today... I was very unimpressed. I got called 2 weeks ago, they left me a message saying if they could do anything to call them.. but didn't leave a number. Today, I was called by a person who asked if they could do anything for me, so I asked about getting put on a list to move my seats if some things opened up and was told they couldn't help me with that. Ok, don't ask.
