Funny clip. Carson did more of an air hump than crotch grab.

I'm still in total shock by Palmer's display of emotion. For a stretch of a quarter or so he was getting destroyed, just destroyed. We saw what happened with the Kolb's and Anderson's when that happened--a complete breakdown in fundamentals. BA said Palmer never flinched, came back to the sideline and asked where they were coming from and how do we fix it. That's it. Palmer is a mental giant to stick with his fundamentals and lead 2 80-yard scoring drives after that.

BA also said Stanton suggested two of the 3rd down calls in that last drive that were crucial, because he knew Palmer liked those plays. BA takes input from everyone.

Palmer should be in the MVP discussion, he's having a phenomenal year, even if he weren't coming off an ACL. The fact that he is, is just a testament to his work ethic and desire to win. He showed that desire last night!

This. PP has impressed the hell out of me this year. I don't think it's overstating things to say this year he truly is a lock-down corner. He rarely gets thrown at now and he's opened up the remainder of the field for our other guys to make plays. That's the true test of CB awesomeness.

Did you catch it on the telecast when they showed pictures of how PP21 looked from last year to this year? He looks completely different from last year since his diagnosis of diabetes. Pic from last year made him look all puffy and out of shape. This years photo showed a remarkable difference.

Agreed, I was amazed at just the physical difference when they showed it on the screen.

I never knew another athlete other than Chris Paul was nicknamed CP3...interesting.

Agree, had no idea who DeAnna was talking about. Why can't posters just use the persons name. would sure make it easy on us who are not into all of these nicknames that not everyone knows.

Went to teach my class today at the college and one of my students went up to me who is on the baseball team (and yes, they know I am a Cardinal fan) and said "Professor, Carson Palmer is a bad ass"... that says it all :)

They raved about us on Sportcenter a bit ago, especially the two drives to seal the game, after Palmer had taken his beatdown. Boom and Tom Jackson both said they may be looking at a Superbowl team. Way too early, but nice to hear.

Most of what I read said "no biggie, we deserved it. They beat us." Seemed like reasonable fans to me, though I know that doesnt fit the narrative.

Man, I agree. Those guys on that forum seem OK to me. Seem composed and did not notice anyone crossing the line. I was actually surprised by that revelation.

The crotch grab into the end zone is Lynch's signature move, so that's funny.

It is funny that they think they were screwed by the refs...

Myopia at it's finest.

that's why I always shake my head when people here are freaking out over the refs, KNOWING the likelihood is that whoever our opponent is, the same thing is happening with the other fan base.

the refs suck... for both team, almost ALL the time.

I agree you should read in the game day thread and see how many people say oh I can see who the refs want to win or I can see who the NFL wants to win. And the classic the NFL made the call to the officials. No way that could possibly be true, the officials don't give a rodents behind who wins it's just that their human, they make mistakes too. They're are not perfect.

I agree but I also think it's human nature that good teams tend to get the calls. I have no reason why it is but it's like that in all sports. MJ, and about every NBA elite player, get calls. The better pitcher vs, hitter is likely to get the call on a close strike in baseball.

I think it's sub-conscious thing where Fitz will get a PI call and a Juron Brown wouldn't on the exact same type of play.

Very good points, but at some time they had to be great to starting getting those calls.

THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
Some hag fans that kept kicking my brother Mark's. (w down syndrome) chair on purpose last time we went to Seattle. Nothing to my 260 lb dad and me as we sat on the sides of Mark yet .Those cowards picked on the weakest.
It took my dad holding me back from knocking his frontf teeth out..now this was 1997 in the kingdomes last year.....from friends that go up to century I heard its right up there w Philly and Oak. And has gotten worse. Next year when I go ill have my Hands wrapped and a Cardinals mouthguard so when I smile they see the real BIRD in the NFC. #BIRDGANG

he's completely lived up to the hype this year. he's dominant out there.

The side by side shots of him last year and this year, pre and post diabetes diagnosis, that the network ran with during the broadcast are remarkable. Completely different guy. Completely different player this season. Thank god.

Hag fans are the mos arrogant spoiled lil babies. They dig up dirt on divorce court records your mom's name your sister's name some relatives that have died and heckle the players about them. Bruce Arians on 98.7 discuss that one fan everyones talking about after the game Bruce even went over to that guy and signs the sign that had a bunch of Cardinals slurs on it. Just goes to show the cards and BA could care less about opposing fans and basically look at them as a joke. Now this probably sounds funny coming from me because at Sun Devil Stadium I was one of the main people that would hang over the tunnel and heckle the opposing players.plus ALOT. of fights. But mine at least are funny I even had opponents teammates laughing at the person directing to but it's all part of the game. The fans scream for hours to get that attention but then when given to them they go cry about it.
marijuana is illegal but people can get drunk and violent at every single football game and it turns from a Friday accountants nto a San Francisco tough guy gang banger on Sunday then back to accounting on Monday....w a black eye lol

I LOVED what Dutchman063 said
"This is highly inaccurate, its the wife who puts on 25lbs after the marriage that makes the difference and effects all parts of the relationship, once she locks down the guy (gets married/paid) and gets fat she quits putting out which effects the mans psyche', which in turn effects his everyday job which in turn disrupts the whole familys aura"

I agree 100%

Now, that's what I call the epitome of being shallow.

Or both put on a little weight and neither one cares because they actually love each other completely.

The most honest quote I saw over there was

We loved it when Sherman was yelling and Lynch did his crotch grabs...now it upsets us...quit whining! To the victors go the spoils!

I don't know what Hags fans have been like in the past since this weekend was my first trip up there, but frankly I could not have been treated better by opposing fans. Of course there was some trash talk during the game, the majority of it PG or PG-13. But Everyone around me knew football, and didn't get outlandish. One guy - who was by far the angriest around me - tapped me on the shoulder late in the game to let me know Iupati was OK. I had two other guys jump in and get my back when the CLINK version of S.A.F.E. was powertripping on the apparent no smoking ANYWHERE in the stadium rules I was unaware of. Literally - some kid I had said three words to risked getting thrown out to have my back against this guy.

After the game, everyone I encountered was respectful, though sad.

Of course, it helps that I wore my Deone jersey, which conflicted many of them who were also WSU alum or fans. I can't count how many people told me "man I was going to talk smack but then I saw you are wearing Deone so I can't say anything. he's a beast!"
