I wouldn't call it must win today, but if the team slides and misses the playoffs, I guarantee we will look back at this game as one the team needed to win.
The Seahawks are beatable. They have tons of warts and are barely beating almost everyone they play.
Russell Wilson is a good QB who misses many open receivers down the field. Make him beat you with his arm. Coral the run game and don't let Wilson kill you with his legs.
Don't turn the ball over and grind it out on the Seahawks. Challenge them deep with John Brown/JJ Nelson.
Don't make massive mistakes on special teams. The Cardinals can and should (but likely won't) win this game.
I agree, but consider this:
This is the healthiest they have been all year.
They are coming off a bye and will be as well rested as us.
They are DESPERATE, Seattles season is essentially over with this loss. They will be 3 games behind us with 7 games left. They would pretty much have to win out and pray that we lose a few games in order for them to win the divison and most likely make the playoffs.
The Seattle crowd is going to bring it like always, but with this being Sunday night, and a lot of experts already crowning us, and Seattles season basically on the line... Man.
I dont disagree with you guys, it would be huge if we win, but honestly,
Seattle is going to give us their absolute best shot. It will be a playoff atmosphere in that stadium and all I'm saying is I'm just not going to freak out if the Cards dont win this game. Now if we get blown out, that will be major cause for concern but if we lose a close one to a desperate Seahawks team in their house, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
