I don't like the spread, but I'd put money on Green Bay straight up. Old Man Farve is on fire and the conditions at Lambeau will not be kind to Seattle.

If Seattle can keep pressure on Farve , they could win this game straight up.

The Packers have more talent, but they are the youngest team in the league and could have playoff jitters. The Seahawks have more playoff experience with their veterans.

The Seahawks have a stud in Kerney and the Seahawks defense has been playing great, but they have played 8 games in a row against backup QBs.

You could make a good case for either team to win. I have no idea which way it will go.

Interesting note: Kearney has 10.5 sacks at home (where the crowd noise renders snap counts impossible) and only 4 sacks on the road. All of those sacks were against the San Francisco 49ers (1 against a rookie RT) and the St. Louis Rams (3 against St. Louis who was starting Milford Brown--didn't someone here think that he'd be a great LT?).

Kearney had 3 three-sack games this season, against Arizona, Chicago, and St. Louis.

Seattle is a good team playing better at the end of the year than at the beginning. The mid-year shift back in offensive philosophy, to the west coast offense of Holmgren's coaching roots, was both bold and fruitful.

Seattle's overall defensive excellence continues to be ignored (not by Green Bay's coaches, I'll warrant.)

I like Seattle. I respect their coach, I like their team, their QB, their offensive balance, in essence, everything about them. And I want them to represent the NFCW well.

I think they can win in Green Bay, hope they do, hope they win the NFC title and meet San Diego in the Super Bowl.

Yes I do.

Me too. Except vs. the Pats.

Seattle hasn't really done squat in this game offensively. Grant pretty much gave them their two touchdowns. Roughing the punter gave them the FG.

offense looks fine

defense is the problem - no pass rush and can't get off the field on 3rd down

babs drops an Int and the pack go on to get a TD

both peterson and mebane miss sacks on that last TD drive

defense looks overmatched

Did anybody see the guy with the beer cozy on his miller light? Is this to keep the beer from freezing?

Packers driving down to the seahawks 10 yard line about to end this game pretty quick. Amazing catch by Greg Jennings on the 3rd down play by the way packers just scored Brandon Jackson now 35-17 basically game over

I'm envious of the Packer's offensive line. Those are some HUGE lanes created by strong men with exceptionally quick feet.

game over now really grant just scored his 3rd rushing td pretty good way to bounce back from the two early fumbles in the 1st I would say :). Now 42-20 4th qtr around 12 min left

What is the deal on the backwards pass? It was clearly a backwards pass, but the announcers said because his foot was facing forwards and his throwing motion was forward, by rule, it was a simple incomplete pass? Um, since when? If the pass goes backwards, it's a backwards pass, right? Am I missing something with the rules, or are the announcers simply stupid?

I'm loving this beatdown of the Seahags. I still remember how they took advantage of the Cards injuries in Seattle and taunted the Cards. I hate the Seahags as much as I hate the Cowgirls.

Dumbest comment by Darryl Johnston was when he said Alexander was running well today. I think at that point he had 5 yards on 4 carries and was immediately buried in the backfield on the next play.

Yeah, I checked his stats and it was 6 carries for 6 yards. I thought nfl.com was screwed. Its amazing how intelligent these people are..

I was laughing at that one as well. I don't know if he was watching tape of a game 2 years ago or what, but Alexander sucked hard in that game. It was nice to watch the Hags get beat down, I can't stand them. Hasslebeck just complained like a baby the entire game.

Next year, they won't have to worry about it cause next year the Cardinals win the NFC West. :newcards:
