another odd note regarding Seattle:

there is something odd going on with Marshawn Lynch

he has gone from "he could practice Wednesay" earlier this week -- to "he could be here tomorrow" and "he wont play this weekend" Pete Carrol has no idea when Marshawn Lynch will be back in Seattle

IKR? Lynch is out for wk 17. Even Hawks fans are weirded out by the storyline that goes with it. I drug this off seahawks.net:

Appearances, specifically Lynch’s lack thereof at team headquarters — he’s been there just one day since his surgery in Philadelphia more than a month ago — plus Carroll’s characterizations of Lynch as “at large” and “off-site” have left the impression the Seahawks are detached from the star back’s rehabilitation.

Not so, says Carroll. While Lynch and the team aren’t in constant — or much of any — contact, the Seahawks are getting updates from his trainers. These are the same trainers who have prepped him over summers for each of the recent seasons.

Yes, it’s odd: An employer paying an employee a guaranteed $4.5 million for the year yet not directing his work, not even knowing his exact comings and goings, during the company’s most important production period.

But as we know by now, nothing is normal regarding Mr. “I’m Just Here So I Won’t Get Fined.”

“We’re pretty much relying on the reports they’re giving us, and also the work that’s being done,” Carroll said. “Those guys know him really well and they’re the ones that have, for the last few years, really done great work with Marshawn. We’re trusting that they’re looking seriously at the preparation level, his endurance, all of those things to give us a good indication that we can move forward.

“We have a really good relationship with the guys that are working him out, and long-standing … we feel like we really understand what’s happening.”

I'm beginning to really wonder about Rashad's injury. He hasn't practiced in, what, 3 weeks now?

Agree somewhat, but I don't think Keim would "hide" a guy on the roster. He'd probably put him on IR designated to return (how many of those do we get? 1 or 2? I forget). In any case, he'd churn this roster if he was done. Have to believe they're saving him for playoffs.

IR designated to return: you only get 1 (ours is CJ) and the timeframe for anyone placed on it now to return has lapsed this season.

Also not practicing Wednesday were safety Rashad Johnson (ankle) and defensive tackles Frostee Rucker (ankle) and Josh Mauro. Arians said he still can’t be sure about Mauro’s availability but that he expects both Johnson and Rucker to play against the Seahawks, adding: “Frostee’s old. He’s always hurt on Wednesdays. Plays good on Sunday though. That’s OK.”

LB Freeney back out to practice for #AZCardinals in open part, but looked like Floyd, RJohnson, Mauro, MGolden, Leach, Rucker still sitting.

none of this matters. If the Cards see that the Panthers will win.
Theyll let Seattle win anyway
