This is never a problem with my loyalty to the Cardinals because...well that is obvious.

I find a couple of things about "pulling" for that other team.

1. I really don't care.

2. I am usually the kiss-of-death for the team I pick.

Being from Philadelphia, it has to be the Eagles. It's nice now that they aren't in the same division ( 10 yrs ago I went as a Eagles fan to the game...after that it was RED ALL THE WAY!!!)



ALmost got into a fight at the ESPNZONE on Sunday because they had the Eagles/Cowgirls game one ONE tv ONLY!!! ( at the bar) and they were sitting in the restaurant portion and my wife an I were in "THEIR BAR" area. We were waiting for the Cards game to start and blocked there view.. TUFF SH^T.

When I started watching football, there was the NFL & AFL. My favorite team has always been the Cardinals, 2nd favorite was Raiders, especially during the Madden years. I no longer root for the Raiders as that whole scene has become almost criminal.

1. AZ Cardinals/St. Louis Cardinals (Baseball)
2. Syracuse Orangemen (I grew up in the 'Cuse)
3. Montreal Canadiens
4. Denver Nuggets (I used to be a Knicks fan, but Carmelo Anthony is a Nugget now)
5. Syracuse SkyChiefs (AAA Baseball)

I don't actually have a 2nd favorite NFL team, but I love to watch Vermeil & Parcell teams play, because they play with intensity that is unmatched.

The only other time I have been interested in another professional team was when we had the Chargers pick and they were playing terribly, that was almost as exciting as watching the Cardinals! It was fun to look at the box score and the occasional Charger football game and root for them losing

I think we need to get another first round pick from some team!

I don't get how you guys love the Cards so much and can even have a pinch of happiness towards there enemy's.Think of it like the mob or a gang, F every one else, all this 2nd and 3rd crap I think is revolting. I love the Cards and despise every other team

Bills fans are crazy!

I went to college in Buffalo for a year and went to the Bills game. As I walked out of the stadium at the end of the game it looked like a NYC street in a bad section of town.

Half frozen, passed out drunk people all over the place.

But the FANS during the game were awesome. It got REALLY REALLY loud and "animated".

I live football. There is no baseball, hockey, or basketball season for me.

Just NFL offseason, and NFL season. I LIVE (yes, meaning it is a huge reason for me to get up in the morning) for Sundays. And watching football.

The CARDINALS are taking a big fat, stinky, cr@p on my sundays.

You are telling me that I am not a good fan because I won't go watch another team that I might root for in the playoffs?

The Cardinals are my favorite team. But this season is an insult to you, me, and every other Cardinals fan. Not only do they suck, they can't even give us a competitive game on the weekends.

So screw them, they don't deserve any support. I am not wasting my Sundays, and the NFL ticket that I worked my @ss off to pay for watching an organization that can't even field a competive team.

I want to watch football on Sunday. So when the Cardinals are down 28 - 0, 2 minutes into the 2nd quarter, I first calm down, and then I change the channel. I find a team I will root for in the playoffs (because the Cards don't have a change to make the playoffs). Thus I get to watch an actually football game.

All I have ever asked is for this team to be competitive. To be somewhat entertaining. So far is has been has been far from both.

BTW - This is in no way saying that the weekend after next I won't be watching Ari vs. SF. But as I said in other posts. 21 point rule. Once the Cards are down 21 points the game is usually done.

They are not just loud they are smart.

Last year when the Bengals came to town all the fans knew Takeo was going to be a FA. They made signs to welcome him to Buffalo. They chanted his name. Best of all they cheered when he made plays!

Takeo even stated he had never ever seen or heard of that before. When the opposing fans treat you with respect and cheer for you at an away game you know something is up. Esp when those fans are from Buffalo.
