So, I had high hopes for this one. Even when it kept getting pushed back, I was amped to see it. Jeff Bridges is usually nails, and it's a fantasy movie.

Yeah, I almost walked out. This was bad, just plain bad. Avoid it if you can.

I was turned off by the fact that I couldn't understand a word Jeff Bridges said in the trailer. Is it that bad? Could you understand him or does it sound like he talks with marbles in his mouth? (Bonus if you get that reference)

I could understand him fine, and it was funny at moments, though annoying overall. The script is awful and cheesy. That's the main problem. I mean, godawful.

Marbles in the mouth. Isn't that how Marlin Brando practiced his Don Corleaone accent?

Wow really? The trailer looks action packed. Was it really that bad?

Crazy. It wasn't on my list of movies to go see, but now I for sure won't. Too bad though

R.I.P.D. cured me of my habit of just automatically buying an action or fantasy movie with Jeff Bridges in it. The only reason R.I.P.D isn't my least favorite movie of all time is because some idiot made a movie called Ocean's Twelve. I might eventually give this one a try but I already thought it looked cheesy and puerile just from the trailer.

Yep...it's sad. I used to be able to go see certain actors almost automatically based on their previous history. That doesn't seem to be the case any longer.

R.I.P.D was garbage. Now this? Ugh! Jeff seems to be in Ford mode and taking just about anything paying a buck right now.
