Christmas will come after Thanksgiving this year, last year it was Thanksgiving first then Christmas.

This year someone will lose an Iphone protohype.

Mean people will suck.

Birds will fly SouthWest this winter.

During a live TV event, a Road Runner will paint a tunnel entrance onto a mountain side and run through, a coyote will then proceed into the tunnel and be run over by a train, and the man driving the train will be Chuck Norris.

I really want to know where people are getting 11-5 and 12-4 from. Is no one concerned with motivation issues after we clinch?

Second in the west

Beanie gets close to 1200 yards rushing
Kolb has more TDs than INTs
Fitz has double digit TDs

Our surprise defensive performer will be AJ Jefferson, it may take a few weeks but he will actually look like he belongs starting in the NFL
Our disappointing defensive performer will be Adrian Wilson, he played poorly last year when he wasn't healthy, can't see him playing any better a year older and injured again

Our surprise offensive performer will be Doucet, who stays healthy all season
Our disappointing offensive performer will be Todd Heap who fights nagging injuries all season and catches no more than 30 passes.

I didn't reread the whole thread and I don't remember if anyone mentioned it but I don't think the 9ers will be as bad as advertised. Maybe 8-8 and beat the Cards at least once if not twice

That's all well and good but do we go 0 and 16?

Knowing the Cardinals like we do they could have all those things happen and still go 0-16.

I mean I can just see a game where PP21 has 4 interception returns for TDs and the Cards lose 31-28.

Sad but true. We already know that we can have multiple returns (and multiple types of returns) and still lose. OTOH, we've won a bizarre game or two also.

Heh no way we go 0-16. We'd go 2-12, with the Bengals going 1-15. One of our wins would be over the Bengals.

The Bengals would draft Andrew Luck, and two years later go on a run of 4 straight Super Bowls, winning 3. The Cardinals draft a OLB with the 2nd pick in the draft, and he proceeds to have a career ending injury in his first minicamp.

The Cardinals go 9-7, 8-8, 6-10, 7-9 during that timeframe, with the only missing piece being a QB!

Cards individual and team predictions for 2011:

Record: 9-7 and is good enough to win NFC west.

OFFENSE

Kevin Kolb: 3500+ yards 25TDs 16 INT's and 58% comp. Would have higher comp % but low % at beginning of year until he gets more comfy keeps him below the 60% Mendoza line for season. Last 8 games of year his comp % will be 62%

Fitz: 110 catches 14 TD's 1400+ yards
Roberts: 70 catches 850 Yards 3 TD's
Heap: 55 catches 550 yards and 5 TD's
Doucet: 45 catches 500 yards and 2 TD's

Beanie: 245 for 1029 yards 4.2 YPC and 6 TD's (3 fumbles)

DEFENSE

Dockett 5 sacks
Campbell 6 sacks
Schofield 7 sacks
Porter 2 sacks
Haggans 2 sacks
Acho 2 sacks

PP21 3 INT's
Jefferson 1 INT's
Marshall 2 INT's
Rhodes 3 INT's

Wilson (Will re injure his arm in week 3 and not finish the season) :bang:

Teams leading Tackler will be Daryl Washington with 112 and he will have 2 FF and 1 INT.

PP21 will return at least 1 punt for a TD!

:D :D :D

What you got?

Damn damn damn close on all of these ESPECIALLY BEANIE AND DWASH....can laugh at me for all the rest! :D

How did you do?

I got our record and place in the standings right, was spot on with Heap too but that's about it...Kolb did have one more TD than INT but not really how I expected.

A couple of quick hitters before I get to my prediction:

  • We're blessed that four of our first five games are against non-playoff teams from last season. And the one playoff team is the floundering Seahawks. Gives our new QB a chance to get acclimated into the offense and tune-up work for the defense
  • Four of our last five are at home and the lone away game is against the Bengals. If we are in position to win the west, we have a good chance to finish out strong.
  • I can no longer take Seattle and San Fran serious. Seattle somehow got much worse overnight and San Fran lost six starters from a defense that has been the backbone of its team for years. Their offense has always been sub par, so what do they have left?
  • St. Louis is our only viable threat in the division. Much of their overall success will be dictated based on how they handle their brutal opening schedule
  • We play the AFC North and NFC East this year. Brutal. But aside from the Eagles and the Ravens, the other respectable teams in these two divisions we play at home (Steelers, Giants, and Cowpokes [throw in the Browns if you buy the hype]).
Game-by-game

Carolina - W
@ Washington - L
@ Seattle - W
NYG - W
@ Minnesota - L
BYE (3-2 so far)
Pittsburgh - L
@ Baltimore - L
St. Louis - W
@ Philly - W
@ San Francisco - W
@ St. Louis - L
Dallas - L
San Francisco - W
Cleveland - W
@ Cincy - W
Seattle - W

10-6 overall
6-2 home
4-4 away
5-1 division

I would have arbitrarily predicted less wins (I had 8-8 w/o going over the schedule); however, going from game-to-game, I realized that 10 wins is quite feasible. As you can see, the late home stand with Cincy sandwiched in the middle should help us make a push at the division.

Kolb - 3950 yards, 24 TDs, 16 INTs, 2 RUSH TDs
Beanie - 1300 yards, 11 TDs, 1 REC TD
Fitz - 107 REC, 1525 yards, 14.3 YAC, 13 TDs

Schofield - 10 Sacks
Peterson - 4 INTs 1 TD, 1 PR TD
LSH - 1 KR TD

:newcards::koolaid:

Wow....I suck

Nothing will top last years. Nothing.

7-9.

We will lay the foundation of a contender in the future.

Fitzgerald will have his bigger year stat wise.

Man, what I hater I am.

The Cardinals win it in overtime to make sure they do better than what I expected.

At least the foundation part was right.

Card record: 10-6
Wells: 1300 yards, 13 TD's
PP: DROY
OL: by week 2: Levi, Colledge, Sendlein, Deuce, Keith. Lutui should start game 1 but won't. He was better than Hadnot all last year, why not this year.
Roberts: has a big year. 80 catches, 1000+ yards, 6 TD's
Schoefield: 6 sacks and somewhat disappoints
Washington: leading tackler
Rhodes: solid, unspectacular year
Rolle: 3rd straight pro bowl :D
I was close on most of these :self: :D
8-8, should have been 10-6 ;)
Wells 1000+ and 10 TD's in 13.5 games
Lutui- wrong
Roberts- wrong
Schoefiled - right
Wash- right
Rhodes- close, when he played
Rolle was snubbed, pro bowl selections don't mean anything anyway :p
