Far from over.

13 games left, and I don't see how 3 OLBers that have shown nothing so far is going to change a team that was likely going to be 5-11 when you looked at the roster in March.

There is so much going on in this 1st season under Arians, that I cannot fathom how someone would say this season is over, literally, figuratively, or in any sense other than playoffs and Super Bowls, but seriously those things were never realistic for this season going into it.

Unless this is some type of, the season is over when Shane says its over, then in that case, you are entitled to your new found perspective. Why this new perspective is caused by the loss of 3 OLBers is a mystery to me, but whatever allows you to enjoy the season.

This team has a total of 5 sacks. TOTAL. 3 from Dock, 1 from Calais, and one from a now injured Acho.

This team has zero players that can stretch the defense and does not have the tackles able to hold up to take deep shots. The gameplan against this team has not changed in years.

Send four and keep everything in front of you. Game over.

Season ain't ovah - yet. The next two games will tell a lot about this team.

Two wins and there's some hope.

Two losses and it starts a downward spiral heading into SF and playiing a red-hot Seattle on a Thursday night and Atlanta with 10 days rest.

thats the best part. I imagine our new OLBs can be as effective as our old OLBs were not. Maybe not but its not like fitz and palmer are on IR.

Agreed.

Its not like Alexander, Acho, and Okafor were supplying a pass rush.

Abraham is still healthy, Matt Shaughnessy is extremely solid against the run, and I would imagine that out of Brinkley, Washington, Minter, and Dansby that one of them will step outside to help out.

With all the injuries to the OLBer position I am still more concerned about the offensive line play than anything since that is the weight on this organizations feet.
