What happened to the Delta I used to know?

I know right... where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest season of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. "Ooh, we're afraid to root with you MadCardDisease, we might not make the playoffs." Well just kiss my A$$ from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. The Niners are dead, Rams DEAD! Seahawks...

:D

god I love that movie!

The saddest part of this thread was how long it took everyone to figure this line out...

What happened to the Delta Chi I used to know?

The saddest part is that Bucky STILL hasn't figured it out.

Lulz, we lost the "depth" at the weakest position top to bottom on our team.

Uhm...no big deal. It's not like we lost a star player at the position of strength and his under the radar awesome backup. We lost some rooks and some meh LBs.

Practice squad guys to these guys ain't that big of a trade off.

Season has a LOT of playing left to do.

All We Need Is...shane!!

Been saying this for awhile now. IF they would just put YOU on the field in Cardinal "red" we'd be a whole lot better! :D

Seriously though, I hear ya'. While it's always better to be hopeful (easier on the heart) reality is we KNEW we were a team in flux. I like Arians & Keim. Bowles I'm not so sure about.

Reality is MOST 1st year coaches don't win. Coryell was 4-9-1 his 1st year and 10-4 the next.

I'm willing to let things play out. ....And besides doing yardwork SUCKS!!! :(

Mark in SC :)

So, I should take TB instead of Ind in my survivor pool?

I agree with all this. I was willing to give Bowles the benefit of the doubt but the guy seems trapped in the past. Hopefully Arians will have a replacement in here before we start the next offseason.

Maybe Bowles is teaching them run defense this year, then pass defense next year...uuhhh, that's all I got.

I couldn't disagree more. The difference between NFL starters and practice squad and street guys is immense. Daryl Washington made the other teams #2's look like Division II college players in pre season. We are going to miss these guys.

More "he's easily replaced" spin.

I'd agree with you if we'd had NFL starters at the position. Buuuuut.....

And maybe they're teaching the O Line to run block this year and pass block next year?

In fact Duck, you could almost go down the roster and play the "most easily replaced" and pretty much the ONLY spot you could do it would be on OLB.

That's not a good thing, either.

Almost every other position if we lose the guy starting we are pretty freaking screwed in a big way. But OLB was so bad that losing the entire depth is a big meh.

So by next year they will have forgotten everything they learned and we won't be able to run or stop the run... ahh yes, back to the good old days.

Just being realistic.

We weren't that great a team with our two starting OLBers playing. Now that we lost both and the next in line to start Okafor is gone now too.

We will be starting our newest version of Joey Porter and two practice squad players from this point on. Does anyone think other injuries in the D along the way aren't likely to occur?? I get that injuries happen. But in this case we have been decimated at the most important position on the defense.

Our offense blows and cant keep sustained drives to keep the D off the field as it is. The team as a whole is completely undisciplined. Too many penalties.

We are going to get our doors blown off in Tampa this weekend just watch. With a rookie at QB and against a team with internal issues.

I dont normally advocate this but its time to suck for Bridgwater! :D

It is what it is!

I knew our season was over when we Arians called Levi 'elite.' Seriously.

We'll again I disagree 100% on the evaluation of out OLBs. So we'll never get anywhere with this discussion. Think I'll go get a tee time for tomorrow instead. My game has taken a huge step forward. How's yours.

Oh, its a given that they will do a lot of playing. It is the winning that is going to be hard to come by.
