At the tail end of the post game show they reported that Shaq is refusing to talk to reporters because he "isn't supposed to be on this team anymore."

He cleaned out his locker except for his warm ups and a single stick of deodorant.

Apparently he is really upset he was almost traded and this is his protest.

I was going to post this but didn't want to be the cause of Andrew's suicide. :D

Does he have a vagina? My wife would probably get bent out of shape in the same way. It's business, nothing personal Shaq

I just don't get it.. them putting you on the trading block will ruin your image and hurt your ego but you acting like a pre-teen girl in a locker room won't?

This pisses me off.. people complain about amar'e all year and his effort and praise shaq and then when they get put on the trading block one plays his ass off and might go blind because of it and the other cleans his locker room because he got rumored. Amar'e was rumored to go to the Thunder and Shaq to the Cavs and look who is getting mad in this situation.. thats just mindblowing. Seriously the locker room is clicking everyone is playing their asses off to get into the playoffs to help shaq get that ring and he says he isn't apart of this team. what the hell man this better not be true.

Reportedly team officials had to call a Whaaaambulance because of the extensive injury to Shaq's feelings.

Actually, I read somewhere earlier today, that he's upset with the media because they came out and said he was to be traded to Cleveland at the deadline...and that he was upset the trade didn't go through...that he didn't want to play in Phx. anymore. So, I don't think he's mad at the Suns, just the media.

Save your judgement until something is proven, until then...all speculation

He definitely cleaned out his locker. They were very precise in what is left. He also refused to do any post game reports.

Only when caught by the EVT did he lay down the "I am not supposed to be on this team line."

That would explain his refusal to do interviews. Doesn't explain him cleaning out his locker and leaving only warm ups and a single stick of deodorant.

Not speculation. From Paul Coro's recap:

View from press row

Shaquille O'Neal apparently didn't like being brought up in trade talks but wasn't commenting after Friday's shootaround, telling one reporter he would not talk again and another that he wasn't part of the team. Steve Kerr spoke to him and was confident he would be fine. O'Neal's locker was empty before game time (not a first), and he did not initially come onto the court with the team. But when he was introduced, his teammates sensed he needed a pick-me-up and mobbed him while rubbing his head. Then, he did his thing.

It wasn't just pre game. The reason it was on the end of the post game show is because they were interviewing Barbosa and Nash. They couldn't get Shaq to comment and then he packed up all his stuff and left.

During the game, he sure didn't look unhappy with the team. Besides him playing pretty well, he was laughing and smiling on the bench the whole time.

The host brought this up. He said during the game he looked like he was having fun. So why try to create this drama after the game, especially after what the team has gone through lately?

I can't see any reason for him to pull this kind of crap.

Yeah that is what doesn't make sense...he probably isn't mad at the team.

Is Shaq shallow enough to use Amare's injury to draw more attention to himself?

He doesn't have to talk to the media after every game you know.

the tv post game?

Radio post game. The show that you turned off too early. I am sure we will hear plenty about it soon enough.

You may not know this Andrew, but there are some people who put a lot of stock in what Shaq says and does.
