He played 29 minutes and had 15 point and 9 rebounds…he did good out there.

He is in better condition than most of us thought, he looked good running up and down and defending…

Plus he said all the right things in his post game interview. He blames the loss on him because he wasn’t in tune and that give them a few days and they will be the most dangerous team in the league.

Yay, I am giddy over here…

Shaq is back

:yeahthat: All the Shaq haters were wrong. He appears to still have game. Knocking on wood for health for the rest of the season.

He scared the **** outta me diving for those loose balls. He did 3 times, I think I lost half my hair on my head.

But he does look a lot healthier and slim, which is great to see. He is back to roll!

What impressed me the most about Shaq is that he played better as the game progressed. If he can continue to progress from what he showed tonight he will be just what the Suns need. He really allowed Amare more room to do his thing.

That is what impressed me as well. There were people saying that Shaq was going to congest the lane ant turn Amare into a perimeter player. Where is that Laker fan now?

He made Amare a better interior player by allowing Amare to use his jumping and athleticism in the paint more. With guys having to box out Shaq, Amare is free to roam. He was a beast tonight.

shaq looked pretty bad to start the game, and just wasnt in the flow of things...but that was to be expected.

but in that second half he looked A LOT better.

this team will come around, and as long as everyone stays healthy they will be DANGEROUS.

You and me both. I love the hustle and all but a couple of those balls he dived for he had little chance to get.

That's now 2 guys on the team in him and Hill that will make me cringe anytime I see them on the floor.

one of the things i've noticed is how much more physical the suns are with o'neal.

i'm not used to seeing so many collisions all over the place. shaq is a wrecking ball.

i don't see the suns being pushed around as long as he's in uniform.

Did u notice in a play in 4th, Gasol ran into Shaq and knocked him to the floor? Shaq was trying to get a charge call, but there was no call. I really don't remember when was last time seen Shaq trying to take charge ...

A lot of that falling crap that he does is just for show. I liked when Kobe goaltended him and he sprinted to other other end like a maniac.

This is what EJ predicted in the face of all those stupid "experts" like greg anthony. He said the biggest effect would be that shaq would unleash amare by drawing defenders on offense, and on defense control space under the board, limiting the offensive rebounds. Damn, EJ was spot on again! I guess EJ knows hoops.

Shaq looked great last night. He is much better shape than he has been in at least two years. Plus, the Suns world renowned training staff has obviously worked wonders with his hip ailments.

He still gets killed on pick-n-rolls though. Of course, that was true in 2000 as well. I f the Suns can figure out how to manage their way around that, and Shaq's health holds up, they will be scary good.
