Should the Cards extend Warner and Rattay?

Warner has really shown that he's a high quality #2 with protection. He might even hold onto the #1 spot for next year if Leinart doesn't show that he's ready. I would like to see him finish his career here and then become the QB coach.

I was not looking forward to seeing Rattay behind center anytime this year, but with a season and a training camp under his belt, I think he would outclass anyone else to fill the #3 spot.

We don't have to extend Warner, but if we can we should, IMO.

Rattay should be in camp with us next year to see if he can win the third stringer job over whatever fodder is brought in. He will cost next to nothing, so why not? He's actually got talent.

1. Kurt. Yes, if he stays relatively healthy for the rest of year.

2. Tim. No, just sign him in the off season as the #3 to a 1-year deal.

I don't think they need to keep Rattay but that's only because I think NFL QBs should at least be tall enough to see over the Center when he's taking the snap.

With the way QBs get injured in the NFL I would like to see us carry 3 QBs who could start ... so keeping Warner is definitely a priority .. and if we can I would bring back Rattay ...

I like to be loyal to local boys and think Rattay is about as good as you can get for a #3 QB. I think he is certainly better than what we had in camp this year. I would like to see him in preseason next year. It cerainly cost us this year not carrying three QB's on the roster and hopefully will not happen again.

I think the QB's will be what we have now. Leinart, Warner, Rattay. I think we'll see Leinart starting and Warner coming in and running the no huddle from time to time again. That was showing to be very effective until Leinart went down.

Warner is already signed through the 2008 season. No need to worry about extending.

I think we definitely keep Warner through the end of his contract. Keep Rattay around to back up Leinart after Warner is gone maybe?

I know 1 thing for sure. We DO NOT go into next season with just 2 QBS. If it's not Rattay as #3 , then somebody comparable or better.
Warner is signed and a given as far as I'm concerned.

Keep Warner for 2008. Bring Rattay into training camp and draft Dennis Dixon qb Oregon in the 4th round. He will fall for sure due to his knee injury. Have him medically checked to see if he could be ready for training camp. He would be a great guy to develop and add some insurance for the future iespecially if Leinart continues to have season ending injuries.

Draft Tim Tebow. He would be a someone to use in third and short situations to keep defenses guessing...

Though I don't see him entering the draft, he was a red shirt freshman... Making him 3 years out of high school.
