In tonight's NCAA championship game, take a look at the Ohio State jerseys. They are tightly tailored explicitly to prevent opponents from grabbing to slow their progress.

It does not take much to throw off timing and grabbing jerseys is an effective way to slow guys down because it isn't called very often. Tighly fit jerseys don't give the opponent anything to grab onto.

I don't know if the Suns could make a change in time for the playoffs, but IMHO it would be worth a try if it would help Amare get loose on the P % R.

As long as it doesn't effect their range of motion on their jumpshots, I'd take any advantage we can get. Obviously the players have to feel comfortable playing in them for it to work though.

Those are the new Nike uniforms introduced for this year's postseason. Florida, OSU, Syracuse and Arizona wore them, although there were design differences between them. I thougth they were pretty sweet

Brilliant!! I love the idea! I wonder if there is some weird caveat in the CBA that would prevent something like that. Production wise it could be ready quickly for the right number$$$$$$$$

This would prevent any comeback attempt by Oliver Miller

We should start by getting a new design first, our current ones are pretty ugly. :)

I disagree, I like them better than the Sun burst ones from the 90s, though not as much as the old purple ones w/ the Western font.

To quote Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde, "whoever said orange is the new pink was seriously disturbed".

I too dislike the uniforms but, oh well, clothes don't make the man, inside that counts etc. :raccoon:

No thanks, they're ugly.

Besides, I'm not so sure that fitted uniforms are such an advantage. Remember, Tony Parker badly injured his finger last summer when he caught it on Barbosa's (baggy) uni.

I would prefer jerseys like the old tear away jerseys used in football.

The fouling player would literally have his hands full... of course I'm kidding. :)

Hell no! Too many bad bodies in the NBA. It works for 18-21 year olds, not for 38 year old journeymen power forwards.

Whatever the players think is most comfortable is good for me. I thought the new uniforms college teams were using at the end of this year were ok but I like the regular ones too.

They should get rid of the shoulders on the unis... and redo the whites and purples.
