Should we hate Anderson?

As much as i want to strangle Derek Anderson while watching these games i think we are hating on the wrong guy sometimes. Obviously Anderson is a terrible QB but i dont know if we can really hate him for that. I think he prepares hard, didnt throw a fit when he was benched for hall, and doesnt throw his line under the bus even when hes on his ess the whole game.

I think we can all agree i never EVER want to see that guy throw another pass in a Cardinals uni again but i cant say i hate the guy just for being a bad QB. After watching that video above i think it is rediculous to think that laughing on the bench means hes not serious. Theres nothign wrong with lightening up the mood. I doubt anybody on the team questions his charcter.

The guy to hate is that ego-maniac whiz...IMO

Now I would like to have the same reporter start asking Whiz about his consistently poor play calling and put him on the spot too. Whiz needs to have his feet placed in the fire too.

It was quite obvious that Scud knew he got caught and couldn't talk his way out of it.

I also agree with Gruden that if no team in the West has a at least a 8-8 record then there should be no representation from our division in the playoffs. The spot should go to a wildcard team with a better record.

Anderson should not see the field the rest of the year. Where is Tim Rattay? Or any backup scrub that can at least look off his receiver.

Gruden was saying that the DB's know where the ball is going before DA throws it and that DA never mixes up the count so the Dline can T off on our Oline.

I don't hate Anderson as much as I do Whiz and his arrogant attitude. How do cut the only experienced QB on the team and have two rookies as back up. When Holgrem let Anderson go and brought in Jake you would think that would be a clue he is not very good. I will have a hard time renewing my tickets to have this kind of coaching,

I don't hate Anderson. In fact, I like him more after the post-game interview. I root for the guy like I root for every Cardinal. I want the guy to succeed. If you don't like Anderson, blame Whiz. This is his guy, and we're stuck with him because Whiz's other guy is a short, weak-armed undrafted rookie.

I have no doubt Anderson prepares hard and cares, because nobody has questioned his heart and desire. It's his talent people question. So, no, I don't hate him for being a bad quarterback. I I hate Whiz for his mishandling of the QB, RB, OL, DL, and cornerback positions.

Anderson is a scapegoat. Whiz is destroying this team at an alarming rate.

I don't hate him but in that situation he should have explained why he was laughing or he can't blame the reporter. It was MNF, the whole world is watching, you get caught on camera like that if you really think you had a rational explanation then say it. Otherwise it's going to make you look bad and blowing up like he did just made him look worse, like he got caught red handed, knew it, and threw a tantrum so he could walk off.

I don't hate him but i don't want him playing QB next week for the Cards.

I'd rather start Hall or Skelton or sign someone off the street than start Derek Anderson next week. Same goes for Deuce.

Again with his phantom blitzes where he just runs upfield to make it look like he's trying.

If DA cared he would have been looking at game data, he would have been upset with him self during the game, not crackin jokes while the defense is out on the field again because of his mistakes.
If you say you study so much, study the during the bloody game as well, so you can adjust and quit throwing crap. If your not doing that than support your defense out on the field that has to play twice as much because you suck so bad.

I said that I hated him last night when Linder and I were talking about it, but I don't. She said she feels sorry for him. Everybody knew (except the coach and himself of course) that he wasn't cut out for the starting position, and yet, he was put there anyway.

If anything, we should 'hate' the coach that put him in that situation to fail. They say a good coach puts his players in a position to succeed and maximizes his talents while minimizing their weaknesses. Whisenhunt has done either of these things in regards to Anderson.

Rather, I cant stand his inability to play his position and lack of desire to improve. He has not had one good game for us yet. At least he was good for one or two a season with Cleveland.

well i don't hate him but as a QB he really really sucks. when you watch him play he either throws to high, to hard, behind the receiver, or to low. i agree too i do not want to see him throw another pass in a cards uniform. also when you have a QB that sucks this bad it also brings down his teammates and keeps the defense on the field way to long. the defense is sucking wind by the middle of the 3rd qtr because they've been out there 3 times longer than the offense. now i am of a mindset that if the offense is playing good and putting up points the defense will also do there part and keep the opponents offense off the field. this season all comes down to coach whiz screwing up and picking the wrong QB, hell we knew it when they brought him in. a veteran QB would have made all the difference in the world this season and i believe that we would at least be contending for 1st place.
