I know how some of you are feeling right now, as I have been a life long Cards fan and I am used to the losing. But I am getting to my boiling point with this team and this organization. I am not here supporting Whiz, but I think he should get 1 more year with a full off-season etc. I know some will flame me, but that's fine, and if he gets canned this year than so be it. If we suck again next year having a full off-season and camp, then obviously our miraculous run was from having a HoF QB in Warner and nothing to do with the coaching staff. At this point I would be surprised if he was canned this season, as I can see this FO giving him another year. But if he goes, take Graves with him and hire a new GM, new coaching staff, and for goodness sake fix this offensive line in the draft. Rounds 1,3,4,5 should be nothing but offensive lineman and linebackers. We need to be looking for Adubs replacement as well. He's never been able to cover people in his prime, and now he's losing a step or two.

Whisenhunt was asked if had been through a game like Sunday's, when his team made multiple errors early.

"Yeah, I've been involved in games like these. I remember the Jets game a couple years ago (2008), the Super Bowl season. I remember the New England game was like this, so it's a bitter pill to swallow."

The Cardinals lost to the Jets 56-35 that season as well as to New England 47-7.

I won't flame on you, but every year Whisenhunt and Graves make decisions that set this team back at least two years and make the team shockingly worse than the year before. No way would I give either of these guys another year.

I agree. Giving him one more year will only set this team back even more. Every year he stays, this team progressively gets worse, in every aspect. This team gave up on him, it's time for him to go, sooner rather than later.

No.

To add to that, we are screwed. I don't know if I am going to live 60 years. Should I really die waiting for this team to be good again ?

Cause it is going to be another 60 years before this crap organization fields another good team.

No. My opinion of Whis' abilities have gone a complete 180 degrees since the Super Bowl year.

The majority of you say no, but honestly do you feel that Bidwill will can Whiz this year? and when in the season do you think he will?

I have a strong feeling that if Whis does not beat his old team the Steelers after the bye, he will get fired. I can see management talking to him this week, that they will give him the bye and see what happens in the Pittsburgh game which translate- YOU BETTER WIN. It does not matter if he has a new QB or that it's the Steelers, that is what I think he has to do. This is Whis' Superbowl coming up again against the Steelers and losing this one will cost him his job

Definitely NO! The team on both sides of the ball continually make the same mistakes - too many penalties, can't tackle, can't block, have no passion on the field and most of all are never prepared for the team they're playing.

The players, such as Wilson, Porter, & Haggan have nothing left in the tank. The OTs Brown & Keith were hand picked by Grimm and they're both worthless. Kolb is shell shoked and mentally can not stay in the pocket. Batiste, D.J. Young, and Bridges shold be playing with Lutui at guard.

This team does nt even seem that they want to win. I believe that the Carddinals are now about 3-4 years away from contending; because there division opponents are getting better each year, while the Cardinals continue to slide backwards. The Coach, the coaching staff along with the GM must be fired and make a change to show the players to walk th walk or get out.

The Fans need this as much as the Players, we invest too much time to watch a bunch that don't care.

The coaches can't make any adjusments at half time; How are they going to make any adjustments with a bye week. Whisenhunt will give the players a week off, saying they need a rest. I guarantee the Cardinals will lose big to the Steelers.

Tell us how the defense in 5 years under Whisenhunt and Graves has made any progress at all. That's 5 years we are talking about. So we should say OK to a 6th year of the same old same old?

Unless there's a clearly better guy out there now, give him the rest of the year to see what he can fix.

The best guy for the job was available this offseason but SF hired him.

So now we have to ID another best guy.

Whiz clearly is not a magician he was smart enough to ride the hot hand with Warner and it worked, but now he's struggling to right the ship since Warner retired.

If the team quits on him maybe you fire him midseason, otherwise unless they think his coaching is ruining Kolb(like people said about Leinart) or something they will almost assuredly play out the season with him.

This was the first big loss pointwise, you don't typically fire a coach this early unless you're just uncompetitive game after game.

It's not all Whiz's fault but he needs to amn up and take some of the heat.

Want to know the real reason we have reverted back to the 90's?

Letting Calvin Pace, Karlos Dansby, Antonio Smith, Antrel Rolle, Steve Breaston walk away and replacing them with Joey Porter, Clark Haggans, Alan Faneca, Andre Roberts and a bunch of rookie failures.

It's running an organization with a GM who was a failure at Chicago and was lucky enough to be part of the Warner rejuvenation era.
It's an organization that doesn't know what it wants to be.
It's an organization that runs a 3-4 defense with personel better suited for a 4-3.
It's an organization that continues to hire apprenticeship type people at key coaching jobs. Nothing against Horton ( not yet) but wouldn't it have been nice to suck up a guy like Wade Phillips for a DC?
It's an organization that hires T.J. McCreight as Director of Pro Personel who was in charge at Cleveland the previous 4 years...how did that work out?

I'm pissed at Whiz, but it ain't all on him.

That would be my question.. Who is out there better?? I can't think of many, if any.

Or, if Haley gets axed, does he come back to be the OC?

I have those names too slanidrac, but their position right now says they are not interested in coaching if what I hear is right?

My prediction is that Whiz and Graves get one more year no matter what their record is this year. I just know this team and the Bidwills too well to think any differently.

Only one smiling right now is Kurt Warner....The more i see the Cardinals play the more I think Kurt Warner should get into the Hall of Fame...BEFORE the mandatory 5 year waiting period. They should announce it tomorrow that Warner will be pushed ahead 3 years...it is painfully obvious that Kurt took us to the Super Bowl.

Just think..Our defense still sucked...it was just Warner out scoring the other team or keeping the ball enough to atleast give them a little breather. Plus other teams had to adjust to try and score alot which made them make mistakes.

Yeah, the big mistakes haven't been coaching mistakes. They've been personnel mistakes. Give Whiz a great team to work with, and he can lead you to the promise land. We saw it before our own eyes. The personnel we have out there now is just so overmatched, we don't stand a chance. And ultimately that falls on the head coach and GM. In Whiz and Graves defense though, as far as I know, they had zero to little personnel experience when brought in. And now we're paying for that. Really, I think that should fall on ownership. Why not spend the extra money on elite talent evaluators? It would pay for itself ten times over. They wanted to save a few pennies. Now it cost them millions.

I don't think they take a job midseason. They want to do it from scratch not midseason IMHO.

Thanks for the SuperBowl, KW. That's Kurt, not Ken.
